      Firstly, an anger making me want to smash the busses radio in. Then, assuming I manage to not do that, an urge to sing very loudly, every good song I know the lyrics too. Assuming I do not carry this through, I resign myself to blocking my ears subtly as possible, and feel sick, in the stomach, and weird as it is, the face. Like i'm gonna puke. Haven't yet though. Jon Lajoie is a genius. But what I probably love the most is what an amazing actor he is. I think that it can be seen really good in this video. You have 5 characters that have their unique way of talking and especially moving, and even in the choreography you can tell that every character is dancing in his unique way and stays in his role, even though the choreography is synchron. His acting talent is so incredible and impressive and it is a pleasure to watch and laugh

    • @oldnetfag
      @oldnetfag 10 лет назад +11

      ***** I guess it depends on your definition of boy band. If your using this parody as a template The Beatles were in NO WAY a boy band. No prancing around, just basically good music, unlike boy bands. So no , you're wrong.

    • @fuzzylogiceire
      @fuzzylogiceire 10 лет назад +31

      Dave Rhodes Beatlemania is comparable to the kind of reaction teenage girls have nowadays and recently for One Direction, Take That, Westlife, Nsync and other boybands. The Beatles went on to become a lot more than any boyband of course and are a legendary music act which no boyband will ever be. But like boybands, the Beatles early songs were very breezy, poppy songs so there are some similarities between them and boybands.

    • @KemmerlingKomputers
      @KemmerlingKomputers 10 лет назад +1

      Its all very dependent on the circumstances provided by your own definition of "boy band"

    I used to be an 11-years-old girl from Central Europe who was totally in love with Jon's comedy. The highlight of my week were the FCE preparation classes where I met my crush. We never dared to ask each other out but we always came 30 minutes before lectures so we could sit together in the corner, and watch Jon Lajoie's videos. We also talked on Facebook, and discussed possible translations of his work, haha. I'm happy that I have been brought back here after so many years.

    oh my god someone finally said it about the rap thing I was always complaining to my friends about how I liked a song like Maroon 5's payphone but the rap bridge of the song has nothing to do with the topic of the song it's about money and getting paid and rising from da bottom and all that shit like WHAT?!?!?!??????

    • @shengin1984
      @shengin1984 10 лет назад +2

      I'm sure it's also completely unrelated that the part about making money and getting paid and rising from the bottom is sung by a "talented" black singer. He doesn't even bother singing during this song, he just talks over the background music for about 30 seconds, and everyone goes crazy over it.
      How much skill does it actually take to say a few sentences that you didn't write over a song that's going to be autotuned to hell and back before it gets released? The music industry is a sham.
