1974 Chevy van saved after 23 years

My first upload in 9 years. I’ve owned about 14 project cars since then and I thought I’d document and finally make a video on my newest find. I actually found this ‘74 Chevy van in 2009 when I made the “classic car graveyard” part 1 & 2 videos. This van has been neglected and exposed to the harsh elements in that yard for over 20 years and I’m giving it a second chance at life now. So enjoy as we haul this turd out of its death hole, clean it out and strip it down and welcome it to the fleet where it will eventually revisit its glory days as a proper 70’s boogie van.

Best video on saving a cool van. I have a 77 . When you started cleaning the inside and found the steering wheel i about fell over then the craiger wheels i literally dropped my phone watching this video. Such a cool find please more van videos !

Exactly. Extremely underrated vehicles. But I’m glad since I got mine cheap and probably will pick up a second for cheap and just dump money into them. Meanwhile there’s an e250 with a 6.4 power stroke and a 2k 4X swap for 75k for sale. My g30 was government owned 82-2019, very well maintained and I paid 1k. Put about 4K into it so far with another 8 to go I think but even as is I got a good sized bed, sink, shower, tv and video games, solar, generator, etc etc and I’ll smoke the shit out of a Ford 6.4 in the quarter mile.
