I like Ride 4 a lot, its just the bullshit enemy A.I. that pisses me off...I mean in ALL of their prior Ride games, the enemy A.I. would most likely overtake you on straightaways, whereas you always had the upper hand in corners, and could easily overtake them with the right timing. Now the all of a sudden changed that to be the opposite, witch is not only frustrating but also not very much realistic either. If i pull away a good chunk from the A.I. with my superior, more powerful bike, how come that just a second later, as im about to slow down and enter the corner, the opponents start to overtake me one by one... And it doesn't even really matter whether i set the difficulty to 0 or to 120 the A.I. is ALWAYS superior in corners, and that is just bullshit rubber-band A.I. programming!!
I binge on this game every year. I recommend doing Europe Superbike last unless you really know the tracks in the License tests. I had to do a great deal of rewinding to get through some of it. LOL
The half a centimeter on the curb you failed time trials and track acclimatization ruined the game for me. Either patch that or give us a skip option Not even with an instant restart like in Steep I'd keep playing but on top of that the loading times on an SSD after a failed attempt are incredibly disrespectful to anyone who has a life

License tests are a guaranteed way to earn quick cash for new players unless you ride a Japanese bike in the Great American Oval from the American bikes pack. Japanese manufacturers have much higher affinity at the very beginning of the game for a significantly larger purse on very easy difficulty in a single race
The ai take care of themselves haha sometimes they clip my nose or tail and i fishtail at speed and man it’s an exhilarating feeling even in a video game. Sweaty ass game. The only other ones that get me sweaty are the monster super cross ones. Those are a workout.
@ riotbox, when are u gonna start isle of mann tt 2. It's a better game than ride4. Got them both an preffer iom tt more. For the ai alone and no ridiculous penalty for clipping the curb 😁
Haha good luck with that, I found RIDE 4 career mode extremely frustrating and it put me off the whole game entirely. MotoGP20 career mode is where its at for immersion and fun!
Only reason not to buy and play it now is that milestone hasn't given any answer about how they are gonna do with savegames from the ps4/xb one to the new consoles! Ride 4 is a big game and spending alot of hours to progress and then have to restart everything then you buy the next gen isn't fun for many players.

Before the race starts you'll be presented with a menu. Search for race settings and reduce the difficulty. The Ai is sadly shit but the game is awesome!
Even today it's a fun game. The AI opponents in career mode are aholes, they will bully and wreak you. The AI ride on rails and are not taking the apex in turns and will give you a very hard time racing them.
This could be the worst motorcycle game. Beautiful game, in all technicalities, has HDR support, does support SLI, gives a nice 4k144fps, but you can't fkin play it. You can't play it because the game won't let you. You move one inch to the side of the track and test failed. You then turn on auto brake thinking if I suck at braking maybe the game will let you know. You realize when you DO do that, in test tracks it won't even hit the speed trap targets. Races are a joke too. So theeese, my dudes, are why you definitely should fkin NOT, play career mode of Ride 4. In fact why you shouldn't even consider, buying the game in the first place. Not even pirate the damn thing. Just don't. Save yourself some sanity. Think that it doesn't fking exist. I really want a physical copy of this game so I can DESTROY it with whatever manner I see fit.

Seriously its not a good game, its cool for the eye candy and that but the ai is unplayable, online is really bad, tyre wear etc is such a lazy model its actually stupid..its a really arcadey game and i play everything full sim even only run electronics on with bikes pushing over 180hp otherwise all turnd off and still not much emersiveness.... This guys lips are obviously seeld with contract lol..... And im running fast times, the faster you go the worste the game feels as in arcadey...funny enough its the slow bikes that actually fee better lol.... but thats basically just holding throttle flat and just leaning side to side...

My only issue with Ride is to set it apart from MotoGP Ride NEEDS free roam.. otherwise they are both in essence, circuit racing games.
