      Sir, I thought everybody had the same frequency, as per AMD. In the BIOS, I am not running anything special. It was set to the normal PBO setting, in the auto setting. Recently, I have changed it to the "advanced PBO", or a more aggressive auto setting in the BIOS. I have not done anything else tuning wise, except tweak the RAM, using the 6000hz CL32 manual timings from BuildZiod (from his RUclips video). I am using a Deepcool LS720 cooler, using the paste that came with it. Not sure how long the frequency holds, but it does usually stay around 5.05ghz under game load. It could just go down from temperatures not being stable with either your CPU or GPU.

    • @randomcsgo1337
      @randomcsgo1337  8 месяцев назад +2

      1% lows ranging from the max FPS have been terrible for everybody. Even the best GPU users see a large drop in certain areas, but I see them on 1440P. It makes me wonder about higher resolutions (4K), if the FPS would settle into a better range or not. Gamer Nexus did a video on CPU's, and found that all of them had a large range of 1% lows at 1080P. Not much data for anything higher than 1440P, that is actually real or reliable.
      With the game itself, I agree it is not optimized yet, and the closer it gets, the better it will get.

    • @randomcsgo1337
      @randomcsgo1337  4 месяца назад +1

      This was all new to me at the time, not realizing it would make much difference, and it didn't change much at all in deathmatch on this map. After all of the "optimizations" and such, things did change, but not much. The 4070 ti was an absolutely fantastic card, and I played with similar FPS in deathmatch that I have now with the 4090, both at 1080p. What we are really seeing in the video, is the CPU constraints at this resolution.
      The 4070 ti would often hit 90-98% utilization on all maps, which was ideal in my opinion. However, the 7800X3D is what is limiting the FPS.

  • @stephenmoon5123

      the 1% lows are not something to be proud of, but it consistently stays above 400-600 everywhere. Sure, it may drop if a bomb goes off or there's a lot of stuff going on, but you can always reduce some aspect of video settings. I keep it all on high preset, and I don't turn anything down for any map. In game, it dips into the 400's, but it's usually over 500. I think that is a safe range to expect a normal game to be at.
