Canada is switching to nuclear power (uranium) im selling my oil n gas stocks in few years
Oil and gas will be here for awhile from plastics to cloths to planes ect beyond cars however Canada is also currently building the largest natural gas export and Enbridge runs a ton of natural gas especially with the recent acquisition. If you ever walk behind building youl probably see natural gas pipes with Enbridge logos.
Oil is just very cyclical so ups and downs a place for relative cash flows over growth most of the time

I agree about interest rates.... "All items less shelter" inflation is now at 2.3%. Higher interest rates is keeping inflation up, statistically.
And it is also increasing expenses for business, which leads to increases in prices.
Some people might say it would be worse if they cut interest rates, but I don't know...
