Whether Africans like it or not the AU capital will remain in Ethiopia. It is meaningful to have the capital on land controlled and defended by Africans. Sure you could move it to South Africa or Tanzania but they have no real respectable historical circumstances. Ethiopia was the only country in africa other than Liberia to defend her land from the colonizers. If it should be anyone else that takes this title it should be Liberia.
