I work right down the road from this Buc-Ee's and they have fired and pressed chargers on their own employees over eating a 10 cent slice of cheese lol its not a Duck problem... Its a management problem.... SMH
I can't even fathom the amount of pure concentrated evil it takes to actually pursue charges over such an immensely petty amount of loose change they likely could find out on the pavement.
What the HELL - the second employee did NOT need to act that way! You already were cleared from the first employee! And seriously, how many kids probably chew on or get their germs all over the stuffed animals (and are not forced to pay for the item)? To be banned from every single Buc-ee's is absurd. Even the cops knew this was ridiculous! This is disappointing to see after hearing all the rave about Buc-ee's. I've never visited Buc-ee's nor will I. Sad all around and I hope they fix it!!
Keep in mind this is the manager of one of their stores. Unless you're near that exact store he was banned from, you're not morally obliged or whatever to boycott all buc-ees.

Buc-ee’s called the police on me for doing homework in my car. Was driving back home to Dallas from Austin and the stress of having an assignment due by midnight was weighing on me, so I felt that their insanely massive parking lot was a safe place to get it done. When I showed the cop what I was doing on my laptop, he laughed and said he wished his kids had the same drive to finish their schoolwork. The manager was visibly displeased, scoffed, and flamboyantly marched away after his demand that I leave was shut down by the cop. He clearly had hopes I was up to no good.. still not sorry for disappointing you years later 😅
That’s pathetic from the managers. What else would you have been doing other than like watching youtube or something? It’s not like you’re going to hack into their security cameras or something.
Had a bucees manager yank on my car door cause I was eating in the parking lot. Yes I was eating… my food from Bucees. He told me it wasn’t a dinning room to leave however when he walked away he flipped me off. I had a dashcam so I forwarded it to Bucees HR. They apologized and told me they’d look into the situation. Then informed me that manager had been terminated. Bucees really be being anyone to be manager
Oh my God, they are so pathetic. Good job dude. Bucees are so creepy to me now just from seeing the stuff and I never even been to one. I’ll go for sure they are creepy. Anger problems much.
They could have banned you at one Bucees, but no it had to be every single Bucees in existence, made you pay for a plush toy Wrinkle nibbled on, and even call the cops on you when you were just minding your own business making people smile and laugh, at least the cops were chill about it but the ladies who banned you are true Karens. Justice for Wrinkle!
Even if they'd wanted to have zero tolerance and enforce their "policy" they could still have handled it entirely differently: Invite him to meet with the manager, discuss their concerns, politely ask him to remove Wrinkle from the store, bring up the fact that an animal touching a childrens toy creates a safety problem and that they couldn't sell that toy any more (i'll bet Human-name would have offered right then and there to buy it). A SMART manager would even act like a human being and meet Wrinkle, interact, smile for the camera, and apologize. Maybe even give them some free drinks or Buc-ees merch. They HAD to know this was going out on social media, so it was their opportunity for free good exposure. Instead.... ಠ_ಠ Woe be those poor people fielding calls from angry Wrinkle fans. I mean seriously, THE POLICE!?!?!? Lifetime ban from ALL buceeses? Way to sell yourself as an evil heartless corporation...

Lets be honest as long as it isnt a bucees near this one I bet he could go in others. What are they going to mail his picture to every single store and be like DONT LET THIS DUCK INSIDE! Other managers at other bucees are probably shaking their head.
I have worked in customer service for 30 years, the managers handled this situation very poorly. The mangers calling the police, and then sending someone out to the parking lot with the toy that the duck slightly touched is petty. How many children touch those toys with dirty hands and throw things around, do the parents have to pay for what their children do? The first employee should have stopped him before he entered the store, with the duck, and had the situation dealt with. The fact that they let him walk through is their own fault.
It sounds like they probably had an issue with the filming but for some reason didn’t want to say that. Back in the early 2000s, I was with a Japanese friend who would have her video came everywhere. We went to a store and the manager came to us and told us that people are complaining about taking video and that we need to stop. That was it. Even if they don’t have set rules on filming, they can just say they don’t accept that. The thing with charging for the stuffed animal is disgusting. That just comes to show that place is a real dump.
Right? I've worked in many stores too. And the toys section is always a freakin' mess, sometimes stuff got broken and we just took them of the shelves. No one bats an eye. And here comes this crazy lady asking him to pay because his pet duck bit a toy. Insane.
@@Tranceplant82 I have walked through some stores where even the towels and pillows are thrown about. I do not understand anyone's need to do that. I am one of those strange people that put merchandise back in their proper shelves in stores. My OCD to keep things neat.😕 Thank you for your reply.💕🙏

Especially since the toy was in a shopping basket and he was clearly planning on buying it and anything else they found that Wrinkle liked. He only abandoned it because of the stupid leash lady. I loved the subtle rebellion from having a contained duck in a carrier, to putting on an invisible leash and letting Wrinkle walk. Those managers were terrible.
@@jeandiatasmith4512 I completely agree! The leash part was funny, along with the employee awkwardly watching the cops have fun with the duck they just permanently banned 🤣 😂
Shame on Buc-Ees! How petty and uptight! Children touch and drool on those toys with more germs. FOLKS, please write to their corporate office to bring justice to this petty bullying.
The music at the end was so sad!! Wrinkle is so CUTE and sweet!!! EVEN THE COP CAME BACK WITH HIS BUDDIES TO PET THE DARLIING. You could tell the original police officer didn't want to trespass them. There are no Buc-Ee's near me, but say the word on how to protest this place. This duo had even made me want to buy those stuffed Buc-Ee's before I'd remembered the name of this video.
How can one store ban someone from ALL locations? That doesn't seem like something that manager should even be able to do. And wasting the cops time over such a petty thing. Honestly that's stupid. If the animal is contained, isn't interrupting business, isn't posing a health concern, isn't destroying property or anything like that, why would it even matter? Stuck up management deserves to get fired.
Even then, I can comprehend a store not wanting animals within it. The fact of the matter is that the first woman who spoke with him had no problem and permitted him to engage in commerce. That's what makes this even more ridiculous.
Man your name pumpkin explains alot about your comment. How can anything be contained if it's not contained by a leash/cage/etc... boy you kids nowadays are ....
I love this dude's duck, but I also don't believe any place should have to make special considerations for fucking ANIMALS when their customers are humans.
So I live close to this buc-ees and saw on the news someone got banned for bringing in a service duck. I clicked on the video and I am shocked that they would call the cops on poor wrinkle. I am so sorry for how the employees treated you.
Not only did she call the cops vs simply asking to leave. But also called corporate to ban them from all locations nationwide. I've never heard of someone doing this kind of thing.
I'm glad the cop was kind though. Even came over with a couple others to pet Wrinkle and to ask about the channel. Good call giving the $50 and leaving the toy; they deserved to see how foolish their actions were.
12:46 Good thing Wrinkle doesn't understand what is being said. I could understand them if Wrinkle were flying around like a crazy duck and wrecked havock in the store. Reality: she is sitting in her stroller and following her human around. She is better behaved than most children and adults 😔

I’m sure the manager is gonna get some talkin to shortly, the PR team is gonna shit themselves after they see Wrinkle has 2 million plus ducklings following em 😂
I was in that store about a week after they opened. The general manager was such a jerk to me. That customer was correct. By law they can not even ask about your service animals. After watching this video I have reaffirmed my belief that it would not make me sad if this store went out of business.
They can ask you if it's a service or support animal, and what service it provides. They can't ask for documentation or a demonstration. Also, a duck is not a legit service animal.
Yeah he’s absolutely correct, you can ask if it’s a service animal and once the answer is yes that’s it, you say have a good day - if it’s no then you ask them to leave. I have a feeling Buccees will be back tracking this shortly but who knows these days.
I just checked the reviews for this Buc-cee's (Kodak TN location) and they have a history of being rude to people with animals, even if they are legit service animal dogs, and especially if they're in a stroller.

Absolutely, it needs to be leashed UNLESS it interferes with the task the dog is trained to do. Since this is not a legal service animal and it has no tasks, this is not the case. It is an adorable, well loved pet. The employees are doing the correct thing.
Ducks however cannot legally be service animals so that is irrelevant. Human-name is misinformed or lying that wrinkle is a service duck because theose do not exist in the United States.
Nope, they actually can be! The cops should have ticketed the bitch Karen at the store for making a false police report. Im so sick of cops "just doing their job" when some idiot calls them. Pathetic
Unfortunately they do this ! And even if you said your violating my rights as a person with disabilities they don’t care they wanna ask basically what the animal is is used for and if your don’t answer they kick you out and say we make the rules
In NY they aren't allowed to ask what the animal is used for. If you say emotional support, like human did. Then that's the end of the questions. It's probably the only good thing about NY
We need to flood Bucees with emails about this. They started off wrong by asking why he has a service animal, big no no. This is terrible PR for the company. This location has some very intolerant employees. Looks bad for the franchise. We dont know that every location would respond this way. Hopefully we can get them unbanned from other location.
Under both Texas and federal law, business may ask whether a dog is, in fact, a service dog, and what the specific task the service dog is trained to help the disabled owner with. (they can't ask for "proof" but those two questions they MAY ask) And yes, it's specifically a DOG. There is no such thing as any other kind of "service animal" under the ADA. (Texas's law mentions a horse in one place) So as dumb and boneheaded as Buc-ees was, here, the "big no no" was absolutely Human-name falsely claiming that Wrinkle is a "service duck" since there is absolutely no such thing. Real disabled people face REAL discrimination all the time, so this is a serious issue and should not be abused. EDIT: but for the record, screw Buc-ees. Seriously. Because Americans are taught since birth that 'they' are the best and 'others' are the worst, and to suspect anyone outside of their 'in-group'. Over 60% of them are globally-above-normal paranoid but think it's normal and a result of their superior 'freedoms'. 50%+ of them are supremacists and bigots of one sort or another, but it might take a day (relief) to many years (nightmare) to discover it. 25% of them are obnoxious frequently (in private and/or public). Lying and deceiving is a way of life here and it's in many of their churches, as is fooling themselves and each other and being obsequious/servile to chosen ones and belligerently-bigoted towards chosen others. Example of something that has never happened to me in any other country I've lived in or visited: over 15 times (over 46 years) I've met seemingly really nice people for first time in US who within minutes or hours verbally bashed me extensively and at least 4 times physically threatened me because I had different tastes in something or that I dared take the side of a 3rd person they were bigoted against and/or verbally bashing. When I moved back to USA as a teen after leaving as a baby, most American males my age were amazed I'd never witnessed real racism or physically attacked in my life (before it all happening within my first 8 months back in the US). Many in US call police on others in the hope the police will beat them up and/or arrest them, or shoot them dead, I'm not joking. I had a paranoid neighbor, a lawyer, who called the FBI at least twice because she imagined I was a drug smuggler who smuggled marijuana from the UK to US, not joking, the FBI threatened to prosecute her fake crime reporting, I would not have even known I wasn't being paranoid about her if I hadn't overheard the whole saga in progress backed up by info from the manager, she ended up going to prison for fake accident insurance scams, but not before the apartment manager of 10 years quit his job over her harassment of him and the building owner refused to evict her. Parents here can lose their kids and charged with child abuse for allowing an 8 year old kid to play unchaperoned in their own backyard for a while while an adult or older kid is in the house, or for kids injuring themselves and the parents can't prove it wasn't their fault. Kids get expelled from schools for defending themselves from being attacked. 8 year old kids can get arrested and physically hurt by cops (many of the violent methods police frequently use here are illegal in the EU) for being loud and uncooperative in class and especially towards cops. US jails are by the worst and most dangerous by '1st world' standards and US laws can be draconian and insane by '1st world' standards. There are tens of thousands in prison here for over 5 years for petty crimes that in the EU (and even for some crimes in Russia) would be sentenced to community service or at most 1 year in jail, and it is common for people who can't afford lawyers to get a lawyer who is under-experienced and/or don't spend more than a few hours preparing for a case. Needless to say people who can hire a law firm to represent them are 5 times more likely to not spend any time in prison then someone who relies on a free public defendant, for the same crime.

That's real white privilege. Not getting trespassed from private property.
That’s pathetic from the managers. What else would you have been doing other than like watching youtube or something? It’s not like you’re going to hack into their security cameras or something.
That ain't buccees, that's buck teeth💀

Everyone, Buc-ee's has an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau's website and also lots of complaints.

Why do people in the USA always call the police for the most pettiest shit ever?
because they know they can and the cops as you see here are forced to do shit they dont like.
Who cares? Maybe it will save a few taxpayers from being robbed by these Road Pirates for exceeding a frigging speed limit.

They banned him but then made him pay for a stuffed animal the duck touched??? That is beyond petty 😂
Fr
And the fact they said “damaged”, like did you not see clearly that she poked it 🙄
I knew this was gonna happen the last 30 times I saw the duck "bite" stuffed animals. It's nonsensical but it's gonna happen eventually at some store.
@@sdjslkdjlsskldjslkdjsl8262yup. As much as we love Wrinkle, not everybody appreciates an animal coming in poking at the merchandise. I’ve always thought he pre approves the locations, since they’ve always been chill but perhaps not.
Honestly not the first experience of petty I've seen from Buc-ees. You'd be amazed with how much they throw away that doesn't get sold. Literally any holiday merch goes straight to the dumpster if the season ends and it's not purchased.
I hope some senior management of Buc-Ees sees this and tell their branch staff to use a bit of common-sense in future.
More likely it's the senior management that created some kind of anti-animal rule that these people had to follow or lose their jobs.
And punish the Karen's who work there🤨
ESA have no legal right to be in a private business. With that said, this might be the nicest human being Ive ever seen. Duck is really well behaved and wasnt hurting anything
Wrinkle is the most behaved, polite, kind duck ever. Bucees doesnt deserve you. Keep being the most wonderful duck in the world. We love you Wrinkle. ❤love from Hawaii
Plot twist. Buc-Ee's apologizes and decides to rename themselves Duc-Ee's while making Wrinkle the official mascot.
Whoo hoo!
best ending
They renamed themselves to Buc-Brokee's.

YAAASSSS!!! 😂
See this is the kinda stuff that makes me laugh. They’re the ones that will loose business from people watching this video. They are the ones giving themselves a very bad reputation. I love how the cops and all the customers enjoyed the duck. The ending is great when you tell her you don’t want the toy 😂👍🏼👍🏼
Never knew a place like buc-ees was so closed minded and arrogant towards ducks, unacceptable 😭😠
Those managers make me deeply sad and absolutely wasted the time of law enforcement.
Definitely. Whoever likes Wrinkle will try to sue Buccee’s
Wrinkle and Human are doing them free advertisement, and this is how they treat them !
I know I am never going to any of their branches again !
So Wrinkle can nibble on freaking Gucci, but not a $15 plushie. Understandable, have a great day.

Imagine you work for Buc-Ee's public relations and your phone starts going crazy at 3am one morning.
Doubt they care but I would avoid Buc-Eee in that location especially.
I would quit that job if I get a call at 3am in the morning
She felt so little when he told her to keep the fifty and the toy with the reason why. Hee face turnt so red. Plus i feel like they were looking for a reason to ban Wrinkle. It was something they weren't used to evidence frombthe first lady asking those questions. Which could get Buc-ees in alot of trouble. I seen dogs do more damage in a pet store and they dont get mad.
"Alright man, we gotta come pet the duck." Great experience! Wrinkle for life!
Banned in every Buc-ee's and he needs to pay for a toy that has been bitten? Ducks don't have teeth! It would require a lot of force if Wrinkle's intention was to damage it. I would sue the hell out of that joint.
Right? And gross kids touched the same item but Wrinkle can't?
And the case would be thrown out or you would lose. They sell food and do on site food prep. I'm pretty sure taking an animal in there is a health code violation in every state. Trying to sue for being thrown out and banned while doing something illegal (even a minor offense) is not going to go well.
@@hackerx7329emotional support animals are legally acknowledged for a reason.
@@hackerx7329 you do realize wrinkle is a registered service animal right?
Gotta disagree on this one. Just because she doesn't have teeth doesn't mean she doesn't have fluids, germs etc in her mouth. It is unsanitary and I think that every time I see Human Name letting Wrinkle put things in her beak. I think making him pay for the toy was alright, just everything else was a shitshow
Kudos to the cops who showed up. They are a fine example of how law enforcement should behave in situations like this. I love the smile on the first cops face when he saw the duck. 😂
I bet Buc-Ee's will be a little bit on damage control after finding out that he has over 2 million subscribers. At no time did the staff approach him with any grievances about filming, the stuffed animal or the duck. The First Lady who stopped him was okay with it. Police resources should not be wasted under these conditions.
except they did not need his ID
They had to have his name for the trespass. @@joescambait
@@goaliesmom No Id is needed the if the person leaves when told.. it is a trespass warning and that's how the law works ... if the person comes back an ID is needed for a criminal trespass.. which you can be arrested for
If I were a billionaire, I would immediately buy up Buckees and change the mascot to Wrinkle. Then, hire them managers to clean the big Wrinkle statue and feed real Wrinkle grapes. Just because.
hire them as Wrinkle's personal servants lol
Duck song????
Remember you're still very welcome at the I-80 World's Largest Truck Stop in Iowa, Wrinkle!
WRINKLE ♥️🦆♥️just got a NEW SUBSCRIBER!
How dare they ban these two good earthlings?
While I highly doubt that a duck can be considered a service animal under ADA law, they didn't have to take it that far. Just ask him to leave and escort him out if you're going to enforce the no pet policy. But to call the police and ban him from all property? Do they have nothing better to do? And the stuffie was in no way damaged. I've seen kids damage merchandise and their parents not be forced to pay for it. 🙄
All they had to do was say "Excuse me sir, we love your duck however it's not allowed in the store." They didn't have to call the police and trespass the guy. They can keep their beaver nuggets.
Imagine calling 911: '"what's the emergency ? " There is a man with a duck in our store. "okay ? And what is the problem exactly ? " The duck bit our beaver mascot..
They could make the best out of it, instead they choose savage... Glad the cops were pretty chill about it. No worries Human Name and Wrinkle, there are plenty of great other places to discover. Adventure, ahoy !
Wrinkle bathing was so cute!
I can understand them having a policy of not allowing Wrinkle in the store. That being said, banning him from all stores, AND worse yet, making him pay for the stuffed animal was beyond petty. Beyond!!!! Unless Wrinkle actually damaged the toy, I can't see how they justify that.
Awww.. We love you Wrinkle. It broke my heart when I heard the words catch in his throat when the Human said,"NO, I don'at want the thing." I agree that It was meanness on top of ignorance to bring it out in the first place.
I too, will not deal with Bucc0ee's ever again.
People that go out their way to do this annoys the hell out of me cause wrinkle is not scaring anyone in that store😂. you can literally just tell everyone loves wrinkle.
That duck behaves better than some people in a store. Petty staff at this store chain.
Buc- ees' s uptight. A sales rep comes out to charge for the item Wrinkled touched. That's Deep. The officers were chilled. I won't be shopping at Buc-ees .
Those officers were 100% A+ phenomenal! What was that one guy's line, "not to detract from how serious this is... can we get a selfie with your duck?" Did their job. Followed the law. Were cool humans. This is what we want our police to be.
Honestly, I'm surprised this hasn't happened before. Poor Wrinkle, it's not her fault she's a duck.
You're not wrong, but humans made all of this civilization to get away from nature.
@sasukeuchiha8801 And Wrinkles feelings aren't hurt, so that's important to me. 😁
So far, Wrinkle's been kicked out of an apple orchard and a Tesla dealership. It doesn't happen often but it happens.
@@MugsyNJ2 if I had a shop front or store I'd gladly invite them in. I'd see it as a free global shout out for my buisness and it's products.

Geez, this guy and his duck was not hurting anything
Unbelievable how uptight Buc ee"s store management are.... But it would be okay if the duck were on a leash?!😂
the leash bit makes no sense..she was already contained. she kept coming up with scenarios as excuses
Kinda ridiculous. Although the invisible leash bit was a bit provocative, it shouldn't even have come to that, like she was in a stroller and they told Human Name to contain her, wtf. And then "we're calling the cops" instead of directly asking them to leave first was just dumb.
Yeah, he shouldn't have done the invisible leash bit. It made him look like he was purposely trying to cause a problem

Calm down. You're not entitled to anything in this world. Also, the American Health Organization states that only dogs can be legally registered as service animals Otherwise, they are just pets. Stores have every right to enforce their policies. Wrinkle is not a Medically prescribed animal so she is not allowed to be in the store. Emotional support animals are not allowed in stores and don't count as service animals. If you break the rules then you are held accountable. Stop calling people Karens for doing their job. The only overly emotional Karen here is you.
