It is so touching to see what good care you take of your duck and how much you love her. It’s obvious the bond that you to share is something very very special. Ducks are amazing creatures. I have the wild Mallard name is Gracie. Gracie has been visiting me and spending a good part of the year with me for the last eight years. I consider myself very lucky to have the privilege of having a duck friend. Someday I hope that I can have a domestic duck for now I’ll just love my little wild duck. I’ve had five spinal surgeries in the last three years and I’m not done with surgeries and still have a tremendous amount of pain. What makes a difference for me and keeps me going is my friendship with my little wild duck, Gracie. It’s amazing what a difference a little feathered friend can make.

Such a fun visit. The kids are wonderful. I am surprised and worried that they would have such young girls on pointe. Growing feet should not experience such torture. All I wanted from ballet classes was to dance in toe shoes. When I was finally allowed after 7 years I was horrified; I quit even though I had an invitation to join the Atlanta Ballet Company.
