I thought that the tightening of bolt's and nut's went up the scale of the size's and higher strength's of the Mechanic's available on the project. I guess they don’t hone the cylinders and just put new rings on. They would get better piston sealing, piston ring lubrication and less oil consumption if they honed.

Я так понимаю, что это не ремонт , а такая форма диагностики (разобрать всё до винтика, чтоб визуально убедится в наличии/отсутствии проблем), ну и прокладки всякие поменять :) . Там видимо после окончания лизинга(и льготного ТО от японцев) даже масло не менялось...

I mean...all day squatting working outside in the dirt??? what happens if it rains?? xDD. Besides that...that engine looks like they never change the oil!!!!...black as hell!!!. @GGALLIN1776 thats not true, its more the quality of the oils and parts they use isnt really the greatest and up to spec + working conditions of mechanics arent the greatest as portrayed in this video, and most people are not properly trained to carry out this kind of work. On top of that new parts are extremely hard to come by in Pakistan for imported vehicles, and tools are not cheap either.

у нас другой подход комментировать на диване и представлять завод по сборке двигателей БМВ у немцев как в мед халатах работают они у себя в чистоте а если заходит ремонт у нас то это сразу кормушка для вытягивания бабла с клиента и только у нас могут сказать не видя ещё автомобиля что сломалось всё ничего не уцелело всё придётся менять но зато и у клиента есть заготовленная фраза пошли в жопу контакт закажу
Why do we never see these engines running after this abortion? Why do we not get any updates for these build for how long they run before the fail? I've yet to see any preventive measures like a micrometer, torque wrench, plastic guage, machine work to verify the values are within spec??
