If you are starting, I would recommend less risky sets. By less risky I mean they are close to the 90-100$/€ range. That way you know they won't get any lower with almost 100% certain. I would recommend for cheap sets: Paradox Rift, Paldea Evolved if you can find a good deal or Twilight Masquerade. Not a big fan of Temporal Forces but the arts are beautiful so I'm expecting to perform well too. If you want a bit more of a "risky" stuff you can jump in almost any Sword and Shield era set, they are decreasing in price so it is a great opportunity to buy some of them. Only ones I don't like: Rebel Clash, Vivid Voltage, Darkness Ablaze and Battle Styles. I feel these ones will rise too in price but the cards inside aren't as special as the other ones. @@TB-oh1ih it is a great option, you can still find boxes for 85 to 95$ and the cards inside are exploding in price, such a sleeper set imo

Yeah I think that #3 really sneaks up on you where you think about how you have x amount of money in the cards but it’s not actually money right then, it’s still cards. Great video.

Very good video. I'm very big into Lego investing but I am now starting to look at Pokemon also as an investment. Already ordered my first PSA graded vintage cards.

@@PokeBim I bought already graded. I'm looking into acquiring Base Set 1st edition shadowless cards. I'm not looking at only PSA 10's. The first card I bought is a Machop PSA 9. Still waiting to receive it. Can you recommend a modern theme (booster box) to buy that isn't that expensive, below 100 eur a box that has good pulls and that people are actively collecting?
@@Karl-Erik-nv6cz good luck on your journey then! If you are looking for english boxes below 100, you can only purchase scarlet and violet ones since the older ones are more expensive. I would recommend paradox rift or twilight masquerade. I think Paradox is more underpriced though, ridiculous price

FOMO is a bit weird when in my country, most sets will ONLY increase in price, and not go much lower. At one point crown zenith ETB's went down to 32€, but the cheapest I could get it without taxes and import fees was 75€ lmao.
I feel you, in Spain things get weird too since we have less than 10% the supply of the States. If you actually learn the history of how the products perform in your country, you can make great investments too!

That's pretty interesting here in the Philippines pokemon cards are limited to shop in the malls i rarely see authentic pokemon booster packs from regular toy shops mostly fakes one
