The smoke has reached all the way across the country and was noticeable in Pennsylvania this week. The news was showing it on the weather radar how far it traveled. Stay safe brother.
@@audreymai2773 I used to find vintage Nike and lots of other vintage clothes but all the thrift stores in my county are owned by the same person and they started taking anything an everything worth money and sell it on their Ebay store.
as a shoe seller, and a vintage seller, I am drooling over this! I would have scooped up this whole yard sale with a forklift! Great sourcing, Matt! you are a *superstar*
Thrift stores are really underrated. I found a pair of dead stock, all-white pair of air max ones that were in pretty good shape. I’ve actually been wearing them because they’re so clean🔥🔥
Super great haul Matt.. Get the ones that are falling apart next time.. We resole them.. Well I use to get people to resole them back when i was heavy in the shoe game.. lol
If you are interested I’ve got some nike Air Max 97 livestrongs in a size 11. Shoes are in great condition but the sole and air bubble is coming off. Will let them go for mad cheap. Lmk
There is a trick to get the air bubbles CLEAR again.... use a HEAT GUN and slowly hover over them and it’s like magic but don’t over heat just do it slowly... appreciate your videos friend
No the shoe collectors are the real weird ones. Regular people buy shoes and intend to wear them some day but don't for whatever reason. Usually one pair ends up being really comfortable.
This is a killer haul! One of the best I've ever seen! I lucked out last night on a bunch of donate boxes I was allowed to go through before they went to Goodwill and I pulled a trunkload of NOS in clothes and products!
Rukia from the show Bleach, Mccree from Overwatch, Trunks from Dragon Ball Z, Lucio from Overwatch, the dark blue hair girl I cant tell, Frieza from Dragon Ball Z, Super Saiyan Vegeta. Ichigo from Bleach, Krillin from Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta (Nomal Version) from Dragon Ball Z, Mei from Overwatch, Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z, Bulma from Dragon Ball Z, Symmettra from Overwatch, and the last one I'm not to sure but I believe that is from Dragon Ball Z too.
Thatvwas the best sale i ever saw i would have went nuts there i would have kept looking i would picked all the shoes in a pile before anyone came and then looked thru them cause someone could have wAlked up and grabbed some of the ones you got. Great video
New viewer here catching up on all your old videos and enjoying all your new/old videos too. I think your Chanel is one of the best I’ve come up upon on how you show what you buy and then what it sells for or sold for. Love the wife and hubby team and how you bring along your littles too. I Will be watching for sure. 👍🏻😁
I keep watching videos like this, where people find vintage 80's 90's shoes/ clothes and sell them for a profit. I tried selling my Nike Air Jordan flight pants from '86 -'87 and all I get is a scammer. Not as easy as it looks. Kutos for sticking to it and figuring it out!
Your Doc Martin approx resale price of $50 feels very low. I've been looking at use/sold comps which appear much higher. Quicker turn-around? Great yard sale. I hope your wife does as well. Stay safe.
Good for you. Awesome finds. I prefer new to old so I wish I had been there. I would have grabbed a chair and gone through every item of clothing. God Bless Matt.
Great Hall as always Matt! Today I went to a garage sale and I found some of those vintage Nike just do it decals that you found a couple of days ago! I end up with 13 of them for $2 a piece
Nice haul dude! Those old shoes can be "iffy" I sold some that cracked and sole came off when the lasy wore them... they are early 2000s. I woulda bought those too tho, worth the risk at 5 bux.
Common problem with New Old Stock Nike sneakers. The soles on them can look mint but will crumble completely the first time they are worn. It's weird though, because even if they just got worn 1 time and put back in the box for the same amount of time as the New old stock pair the soles can be totally fine. Something about them not ever getting stepped in has an effect on the soles.
@@PartTimePickers yes I had pair of shoes I didn't wear for a couple of years. I decided to wear them out shopping and after an hour or 2 they completely crumbled. It has something to do with things like sweat etc and the warmth of the body that helps them stay strong.
😱😱😱- a fav vid for sure! Wish we could've seen more of the 'beauty store' she had sitting there- when you were walking up and we saw that selection- I got ALLL EXCITED! I have always been that 'first person to rush on toiletries' at sales🥰 I appreciate that *YOU* understand the value & DESIRE for those things! The other guy resellers I watch seem to only think 'Mary Kay' has value🙄
Dude i would have kept going thru the clothes. At the bottom i saw what looked to be a Michael simon ulgy sweater with a star sticking out. There was prob a ton more cool 90s ladies clothes..ughhhh! Crazy good deal thou
Good video my man. Something I noticed which you do quite well, is to be polite and kind. A lot of flippers come up like they are in a rush on a mission. Just some light conversation can go along way.
Wired magazine has a good article on Nike’s use of a failing polyurethane. The polyurethane or PU Nike uses to manufacture their sneakers expires. After 12-15 years the PU has decomposed. If the sole is lacking in stitching, most are, the sneakers just crumble. Wired magazine published an in depth article many moons ago.
Love that your GPS announced you arrived. Boy did you! You are always at YS with no one around, are there a ton in your area, or what? Glad to see you have continued phenomenal success! You and your family deserve it.
You should come my mom's house she has alot of 90s and early 2000s clothing. She used to buy and sell clothes and all type of stuff every weekend before. But has since stopped. Has the basement looking like a hoarders paradise
I'd be careful with those Brand new old stock Nikes. Something weird with 90s Nike's where if they sit in the box and never get worn the soles can look perfect but completely crumble the first time you actually wear them. Just do a good full flex test on each pair.
It’s is dangerous if people who have no clue by them. You need to put that in disclosure. My husband is a sneaker collector and had sold dead stock and used dead stock and the soles will crumble and are on some a s still sold them with disclosure.
Great sales Matt! Love watching your videos because you always get mad deals. Can I ask you a question relating to video games? Do you always sell video games tested? If you sell untested do you lot them?

Hi Matt. Wow great haul. Just wondering why you left some of the shoes behind that weren't Vintage? Don't current styles sell well? Also did you go back to buy the rest from her?

The yellowing of the midsole on the 90s was fireeeee
