There is no practical point to doing this in a headset. It would be identical to just creating a smaller window closer to you to occupy the same field of view. The real display here and thus the quality is actually the same, it's not like a movie theater screen vs smartphone up close

You are the second person I've seen who focused on the size of the monitor or movie screen, and a third person did it accidentally. Trenton Tech positioned his screen in his space, walking its length to gauge the size in feet relative to his foot size. With each iteration, the screen got bigger depending on where he placed it, from his room to the garage, out in the yard, and even up in the sky. Max Tech, on the other hand, tested his out on the job up on the roof, managing to map out a screen to the size of a building wall across the street. Therefore, achieving a substantial screen real estate is possible depending on your location, especially in a virtual environment once you dial it in.
I’d take it to a movie theater, find out the actual screen size from staff, project it over the screen, and just do the math (please). Seems like kind of a strange limitation. You'd think that given the space you'd be able to Max the screen out to something like an IMAX screen or even larger.
its becuase the AVP is a close system and you have to use only the apps that apple allows like Apple TV which you can only watch the movies they have and make the screen size in their theater mode, but if you have a Quest 3 , it gives you more options with different apps and you can play your own movie files

Somehow I don't notice a decrease in quality when the screen is enlarged. I'm no expert but I think the fact that since your entire environment is digital (even passthrough) when you expand a screen into that environment you're still dealing with the same pixel density.
Sure. Tried to do that once but too much confidential data floating around. I will say, it seems that 'screen sharing' only shares your full view which is not ideal in business settings.

Did you always cover the inside lenses when you took off the headset outside? Been checking everywhere and posting/asking and so far no one had issues or an incident where the sun hit the lenses and damaged the headset? You’d think people would be quick to point that out.
. @ivanoxx The lenses can focus sunlight into a single powerful "pin" of light that can damage the screen or other components. Like burning ants with a magnifying glass.
@@ivanoxx looks like you think sun is harmless like some giant light bulb. The sun can actually cause tons of damage to equipment. Electronic enclosures can degrade after long hours in direct sunlight, making the components inside more vulnerable.
