Droppers, lobs, corner-to-corner groundies, well-placed serves, incredible defense, sliced approaches, and masterful volleys. The only way to beat her is to blow her right off the court (like Muchova did at the 2019 U.S. Open). If you can't do that, she will run you all over and will drive you insane. Simply awesome! One of my fav players to watch. And Giorgi, or course :-)

I've always wondered why people didn't try more squash type shots in pro tennis, especially when circumstance and space dictates vs standardized shots.
Su Wei might not be number one , but she is number one to watch. So clever. No grunt, no groan tennis. So enjoyable. Hope she has a long career.
