Hello brother befor 2 days ago the same issu happand with me in fabia 1.4 2001 o dont know the resan please can you tell me about the program that using it in your phone
My Fabia has a problem with the gear stick. Moving through the gears 1 to 5 and reverse not a problem. Gear stick extremely stiff moving across the gate and stays where you leave it. Makes it difficult to select the gears but goes into gear easily. Any ideas please?
First check the gear oil level. Then bleed the slave cylinder. Re-adjust, set the linkages and check for excessive play. If no better suspect the clutch.

@@HatBoyHarvey Car has new clutch. Gear oil renewed 3000 miles ago and ok level wise. Car averages 7000 miles a year so quite low mileage. I did adjust gear linkages and the problem started shortly after that. So I’ll readjust. Thanks for your input. Dave
Please tell me the trunk does not open from the lever, there is no voltage going to the lock servo, the wires and connectors have been checked.Fabia 1-2002.
Have you ever changed the drivers side door lock? If not suspect that the micro-switch in that has worn which can effect the boot lock. Test and trace for continuity/break of power wire back (central locking module) and ground wire. Wires going into drivers door and connections. Moisture seems to be a problem on these cars electrics :-)
Greetings I know my question is not related to this post but I need help The problem is the cooling hose skoda Fabia 2000 in my city that part is not available a is there an approximate replacement and what brand of car could it be? Thanks
Many Skoda engines are the same/similar over other VAG group cars such as VW Golf, Polo, seat Ibiza etc so you may find a hose from a different VAG car group may fit. Look-up the part online for Approx size/shap ,
This is such common issue on Fabia 1. I've replaced the whole clockspring every time. Using WD and reusing the original clockspring is a good idea. I wonder whether it will last this way or whether the airbag light comes on back again in few weeks or months.
Hello Sir... I change my key ignition ACC and after this on airbag light... With my diagnostic scanner don't showing airbag error... If conectors have problems I need trying quickly.... Thank you for very interesting video....
Did you take the negative lead off the battery first? Check the wired connector and compare with the old one is all correct. If all good just Clear codes and it should go out if it is that.
@@HatBoyHarvey I make all how you showing in your video.... Olso my spring is well my diagnostic scanner can't see errors... Maybe my scanner not so good... I try 😭 all but airbag light is again on....
Thanks for a detailed, informative and easy to follow video.
Thanks, glad it was helpful :-)

It does sound like that; readjust. If you renewed the gear oil it can also be too thick to start with and cause issues like yours :-)

I'm wondering too, fingers crossed🤞, but I do think moisture and leaving the car stood a long time has played a large part.

Can you think of anything else you have messed about with on the car as the airbag light can come on when other stuff is interfered with.
Excellent!
:-)
I was more worried about the temp gauge. -34.5 😂
Ahha, missed that until you mentioned it now, thanks. I'll look into that :-)
