- Today on Kwon's Corner I'm going to teach you the Korean dialect from my hometown, Daegu, South Korea! Daegu is home to a lot of famous K-Pop idols like Suga and V from BTS, Irene from Red Velvet, and Nancy from Momoland. Daegu satoori, or Daegu dialect, is famous for sounding very different from Seoul's dialect, it's the southern accent of Korea! Sarah really likes Korean dialects so she asked me to make this video. If you've ever wanted to learn Daegu satoori phrases and words this is the video for you. When you come to Korea you can sound like a Southern South Korean!

Who else notices that Daegu satoori is kind of like Busan dialect?
Its close to eachother so it makes sense
I think it’s because of the province (Gyeongsang) there are slight difference between North (Daegu) and South (Busan)
I can't stop laughing while trying to learn daegu accent lol
I loved this video! Suga and Jungkook say Maj na all the time and it helps to understand the context so much better after watching you explain it! Thanks!

I like Daegu dialect and for me it sounds like Japanese. (I'm sorry if I offended someone)
신기하다😳 저는 외국 사람인데, 한국어도 아직 잘 모르지만 사투리 관심 있어요. 진짜 재밌는거 같고 어렵기도 하네요. 대구 사투리가 부산 사투리와 되게 비슷하네요ㅎㅎ
You’re so cute, I’ll try to learn this and use it when I meet Suga 😂
U will be going to be ignored 😃 good dream
Hahaha new subs here 😍
I honestly love Daegu and Busan satoori...
💜💜💜💜💜

Interesting though 😊😊
Im from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Deaegu Some words and sounds are similar to Sinhala words and sounds, also in Sinhala "What?" "moko" is what you are asking. I am also a Korean learner, There are several Sinhala words that are similar to Korean words thank you✌️🇰🇷❤️🇱🇰✌️
I can understand the first 3 ga’s - those make sense but why is the fourth word ga when replacing ni? I really am curious (I’m not being sarcastic lol.. I assume the first and third ga are a shortened version of geu ae (that kid))
Daegu dialect do attractive oh god
❤
I will never forget ga ga ga ga ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I love one girl from Daegu 🧚♀️🙈🙈🙈❤️❤️❤️
hahaha now i understand why s.coups sounds like that. 😂 his daegu satoori
Bang sung hoon!

Daegu satoori sounds like babies talking haha
Very small young learners
The sound of Ga Ga Ga Ga? Is the same in Tagalog words Ba Ba Ba Ba?.
Agegyo Agegyo also please
That's how V says
I remember reply 1988 haha
Hi! Can you help me write this phrase in Hangul?
“Hey, Should We Kiss?”
Is it
“야 뽀뽀 와가?“
I don't but koreon is like fighting most of the time people talk looks like there is a chaos
In the Daegu accent.. it sounds like you are slurring your words like your drunk.
Yes like baby 😘 is saying something with lack of words
I’m here because of Irene 😅
Tell me which accent is known by all people in Korean and which one we learn.
Seoul can be understood easily
TEACH US YOUR MANLY AEGYO!!!! ;)))
Daegu satoori same like busan satoori ?
This dialect is so hot and idk
Me who knows Yoongi comes from Daegu , i think of that and then yoongi pops on the screen be like :

có ai VN hông?????????
my family is from Daegu. nothing worse than getting roasted in satoori
😂i can understand it looks so mean to my foreign hindi speaker
Yeah but 사투리 is kind of dying ... not as strong as when I visited Daegu/Pusan twenty years ago; everyone just uses 표준어
U literally disappearing youself koreons have u seen ur birth rate ?
형님, 대구 사투리는 존댓말이 있지요? 대구 사람들은 늙은 사람들한테 존댓말이나 반말으로 말해요? 이에 대해 궁금했는데요. 아직 한국어 저 잘 못하거든요. 감사합니다.
Yeah every 사투리 has 존댓말 and 반말 ^^
creo que el acento de Daegu se escucha más como acento de viejito mientras que el de Seul es más fresco(??? Ajajsjsja
Very ollllldddddddd
i dont understand why u laughing when you say it in satoori is it funny? 😅 im really curious whats funny ? hehehe 😅😁
Speaking as a Korean, I can tell you that the Daegu accent is literally the most annoying in Korea and 2nd place goes to the Busan dialect which is slightly less annoying. Every time someone uses either of these two dialects, it sounds like they are literally whining or complaining. They sound like people speaking in a strong Irish or Scottish accent but not sounding nice AT ALL (I like Irish and Scottish accents).
People from Gyeongsan provinces are envious of people who can speak neutral dialects, ie, Seoul and surrounding areas because they know they sound ridiculous.
Ew gross it reminds me of my mom's ex husband. He was rude to me
I feel sorry for you plz stay strong don't worry u are strong u can bear this pain i know how it feel but stay strong u are gem to world ur feelings!atter
