Anniversary of Dad's crew being shot down 10/10/43 Part 1.

It is so awesome to have actual parts of Dad's B-17, 81 years after it was shot down on 10/10/43
Huge thanks go out to Joel Brinkman for sending me these parts that they dug up of the aircraft.
It was very cool to put a couple of these parts into my Radio Controlled model of Dad's B-17 so they could fly once again.
