I really think this is a terrible quote. Millions who vote Republican will end up in hell. People are deceived to think they are in God's kingdom by how they vote. If Jesus we're here today, I honestly believe he would find just as much sin and disgust in the Republican party as in the Democratic party. For anyone to think just Democrat or Republican is not seeing. I'm black. Family and community fiercely Democratic. When I became a young adult, I got saved and started studying the history of politics in my growth. What they used to be is no more. Both parties have changed. Both. With what the Democrat party openly represents I will never align myself with. But for me to then automatically choose Republican, would be a lie as well. Do you know where "Ana eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" comes from? It's from Exodus chapter 21. Read verses 22-25. It's clear that God didn't use a clump of cells but specifically used the word "child" when referring to the pregnant woman. He clearly states what the consequence was if she lost the baby because of the injury. Romans 12:1-2 tells us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him. Abortion is far from that. It also says to renew our mind which goes in hand with having the mind of Christ. Some people don't want to know the truth because they are too busy believing their truth.

Nah, Pastors not interested in revivals anymore; some have no power due to hidden sins and being sent instead of called by God. Revivals are deliverance in the past. This is what is wrong with the church today. The pastors are not devoted to prayer and the word. What did Paul preach? "I preach Christ crucified." Apostles did not mix politics and religion. The apostles didn't even concern themselves with the needs of the widows. Acts 6 "But we must devote ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word" No apostle was an 'advisor to the president.' Look at what awful things have happened to pastors and other well-known Christians who were and are advisors to the president in 2013 and now 2024. Such tragic stories.

I absolutely agree with everything you said. I just can't stand the hypocrisy of some people. Just because you're pro-life or pro-family doesn't mean you're any better than those who aren't. Your sin stinks the same. God is not moved by our politics, and He doesn't pick sides. If you're going criticize one party and not the other, you are showing favoritism. @@donaldjones1you must take the whole cannon of scripture into account - Old Testament and New Testament. The Old Testament is very clear we are not to sacrifice/kill our children. The 6th commandment is simple and clear, “thou shall not kill.” Jesus may have not mentioned abortion, but He certainly said,”let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Mathew 19:14. I’d say abortion hinders a child….
@rosemarypeto2316 either they aren't reading the Bible, which polls show that a significant majority don't, or they read it and come up with their own interpretation that is self serving. Do you know where "Ana eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" comes from? It's from Exodus chapter 21. Read verses 22-25. It's clear that God didn't use a clump of cells but specifically used the word "child" when referring to the pregnant woman. He clearly states what the consequence was if she lost the baby because of the injury. Romans 12:1-2 tells us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him. Abortion is far from that. It also says to renew our mind which goes in hand with having the mind of Christ. Some people don't want to know the truth because they are too busy believing their truth.

I'm not saying I agree when a woman who is raped has an abortion but I can understand her wanting to get rid of the trauma. Don't know if you recall Ariel Castro who kidnapped women and had them captive for 10 years. One of the girls was Amanda. She ended up getting pregnant by him and she said, the baby is what gave her a reason to go on. It was that same baby, who at I believe 7 or 8 yrs old (not sure of the age but around that age) that was the reason those 3 women were rescued!!!! She told her mom that he had left the house and they escaped through a window. You would think that she would not have taken care of the pregnancy in hopes to miscarry but she didn't. Wonder if they would have ever escaped if she did what was necessary to miscarry. Thank God she didn't and chose life.
