Nice clarification, but now I have another question. Has Alec stopped making stuff for his company? Seems as though this was the facility they were working out of but now you reside in it so I am left wondering where did all his production move. If it even did at all seeing as he doesn’t even sell his grinders on his website anymore. Just curious.

@@Volt64bolt Yeah, a combination of him and his wife wanting to visit their roots and the covid fiasco, which resulted in their settling down.
I'm sure I am missing a LOT of factors we don't know about, but those are two I am aware of.

I'll be frank, Alec fell of completely after the split and the departure from the US. The content is hardly about actual blacksmithing anymore.

Matt a few years later : Hi everyone, my name is Matt and I'm now back in the new, old, old shop that used to be Alec and Will's where I've taken over ownership from Will so he can go back to his other Montana shop, while Alec sets up a new one in Australia... because he's taken a fancy to damascus steel boomerangs.
It's the ol' Steele/Stelter workshop! I can't handle the emotional roller coaster.
Great to see it bring brought back into the RUclips world again. Will, I can't wait to see what you do with it (and make in it).
Who hoooo the shop’s been revived. Im so happy to see all that brilliant tooling being used again.
Will, please use this shop to make videos like you and Alec did in the old days. I miss that so much. Make unique stuff in 14 part series again. I always looked forward to each new episode. If you did that I have no doubt your channel would grow tremendously. That's what attracted me to Alex Steele in the first place.

Nice to see the old place again. Glad you're going to be putting it to use again. I definitely miss the Alec Steele/Will Stelter Era. You guys were one of my favorite teams on all of RUclips. I hope you guys can get together again once in a while. It'd be nice to you tag team something once more.
This is honestly really nice. The content I enjoyed most from Alec’s channel was when it was you two. You taking over this shop is nostalgic and truly pays an homage to the good days. Glad to see you taking it over.

Man this is a sad era to see ending lots of great content created here I remember back when you first visited Alec In Europe for the sword collab what a great many years it’s been to see you two develop. I’m sure the new adventures to begin here will be excellent. You two are largely part of what got me started making custom knives.

Apparently, the whole floor was meant to be that thick as it was specified in the contract...... so the landlord had to pay for the concrete 😂

I strive to have an area for all parts for projects, but currently space is too tight, so I'm forced to run to a big box store several times every project, lol
I must say you both are pretty smart business men while staying friends along your different journeys.

Hey Will, I bought that Hedley & Bennett cheap chef’s knife you recommended a while back. I bought it as a gift for my step father who cooks a lot for my dear old mum and he absolutely loves it. We live on struggle st so I have no chance of ever getting a great knife but I wanted something that you would recommend and I’m shocked at just how good it is. Thank you for the great tip and awesome content.

This workshop is so much more spacious and brighter than your other workshop. I wish you would make more videos here. The best era of both your and Alec's content was when you were in this workshop together imo. The videos also just looked better due to the brighter footage. Same goes when comparing the videos made in this workshop to those Alec's making now in his current workshop.
I'm actually excited to see this and what comes next because I've been missing the crazy damascus builds from this shop.
