You can definitely see Kyo moves are more about using flames but Iori keeps a balance between using flames & fighting without it. It makes Iori the king he is & you don't wanna come close to him.
Maybe over ‘95 Kyo. Every iteration beyond that sees Kyo using flames to make him more dangerous up-close. The only reason Iori keeps them separate is because he doesn’t have the level of control it takes to continuously use them both at the same time the way Kyo does, nor does he have the adaptability and creativity to continuously reinvent his style(outside of that one time he lost his flames and literally had no other choice). Kyo ftw!
@@Sakaki98 The only thing I am wondering about is that what's Kyo gonna do if he lost his flames. It doesn't matter for Iori so much because he has a complete flameless set of fighting style. Not just seeing in games but in mangas also, like in the new Iori isekai King Of Fantasy, Altena appreciates how difficult it is for enemies to make Iori use his flames. Iori keeps his flames hidden most of the time, it doesn't mean that he can't use it effectively. He keeps it as a final finisher for his enemies.
Don't think so, Kyo has a more professional fighting style if you count KOF 96-2002, starting from kof 96 he revamped his moveset by combining his antique fire bending style with modern kenpo if you look at his nests version you can clearly see it puts emphasis on hand-to-hand combat, maybe if we got to see Kyo having to fight without his flames, he would have no problem keeping up with many fighters because he's a kenpo practitioner that would give him a chance plus having to fight without flames would've pushed him to actually train hard relying on bare fists like Iori did, of course this is entirely hypothetical.

Ninguno es mejor que otro, todo depende del momento de cada uno al hacer un movimiento.
