Jack, thanks for sharing the planning and build of a garden. I’m sure that Client’s neighbours must’ve had an extra long look and had garden envy as they were taking their evening walk. 👏🌸❤️🇨🇦
Jack, it's awesome to see your depth and breadth of knowledge go from zone 5A in Mackinac Island to zone 10A in Naples and see stunning outcomes in both areas! Thanks for sharing the process with us. Excited for your return to MI so we can see some projects up there.
🙌 Fantastic from start to finish. Always Is! It's like a dream come true in one dose of magic! How fortunate 🙌 All you have to show up with is your hat, Jack. SOLD!
I am FLOORED at how much the crew accomplished in ONE DAY! Definitely made up my mind - hiring out ALL the heavy lifting. One thousand percent worth it. Thanks for sharing!
Great transformation. Love to see the process from computer drawings to plantings. It would be great to see sometime the actual consultation process with a client. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful home and property. The landscaping made it come alive..so many interesting plants and palms..Just lovely Jack... tropical perfection...easy to maintain for the homeowner. She must be thrilled.
I love all your videos, so just keep them coming. You might have created a domino affect in this neighborhood. You will certainly get alot of the neighbors wanting to change their landscape. Alot of work but the results are so rewarding.
Love the design info in this video. Please continue with more videos because it is so good to see tropicals when it's still cold in Michigan. Can't wait for warmer weather! 🌺🌴🙂
Thanks for sharing your landscaping videos love watching the process from start to finished. I love to see more residential landscaping in the future because I love to garden and I’m interested to see different garden design.
Live in Oregon zone 8b love the landscape transformations. Would like to here more detail in your thought process in desiging spaces. Also maybe a segment on choosing soils mulches.
You made it vibrant and unique in an otherwise static development. I bet you get a few referrals. Thanks for letting us in on your process. I'm not a designer, but I designed my property and attracted people from the neighborhood, one of which hired me to do a large makeover of the back of her property. With trepidation it goes in this spring. I have a great contractor so it should be fine, but I get inspiration from your projects. Many thanks.
Loved the video! I think it's awesome that you can landscape design for different climate regions. I'm here in Chicago and can't wait to get my hands in the dirt and go shopping at nurseries. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos from Michigan for garden inspiration.
Hi Jack. Wish u would do walk around and really show planting like u do up north. I live in south Florida so I can really appreciate when u film in Florida. Thanks
Looks awesome!! Can’t wait to see the ones in Michigan. I live in Northern Indiana and go up to the area you are doing landscaping in Michigan at least once or twice a year. Love your designs and work. Keep making the videos!!!
Love the finished/before and after shots at the end! Job well done. Since living in Florida, I get jealous of having to share you with Michigan, but I really can't blame you. So beautiful here and Mackinaw. You really have the best of both gardening worlds! Thanks for sharing.
Love the videos. Love to see the whole process from garden design to planting. Plantings for different soil types would be good too. I have heavy clay so am always interested to hear new ideas.
I’m impressed how you switch from south to north with design and plants ! Your head must be spinning … do you sleep lol! Getting to the Grand Garden show this year Yipee ! Never been on the island!
Loved seeing how you go from start to finish with the design. The end result was gorgeous. I would to see the landscape after the plants have grown a bit. Great crew.
Hi Jack Gayl from New Zaeland we are just heading into winter so not looking forward to that but hope you have a great summer on the other side of the word😊
I’d like to hear more about your plant choices for FL. My in-laws are snowbirds in Naples and need some sprucing up of their landscape. We have homes in the Detroit area & Houghton Lake so your MI plant choices are very familiar. If we can find a rental we’ll be snowbirds as well!😎
Hi Jack. Lovely transformation. I am interested in why you designed as you did. What wasn't working for the homeowner, why did you make the changes you did, what was the goal of the transformation etc. Please tell us more about the plant choices and WHY you chose them for their location in the garden....all I really got from this video in terms of explanation was the plants were almost dead and the soil was terrible. A close up video with explanation would have been so helpful.
I liked the video. I felt it was missing a walking tour of what plants you used and where. I am not familiar with southern tropical plants. I live in Southwest Michigan, as you know, plant choices are limited. I like learning about new plants.
Looking forward to spring and summer landscape projects in the northern Michigan. I really enjoy seeing you bring in the plants with the horses, the beautiful homes and the incredible plantings you do. I hope you need to go to the house with the all the Hyndrangea behind the Boxwood border. It's so stunning. I don't remember the name of the house.
Just beautiful. So impressed with design and how quickly your team did job. May I ask how much does a make over like this cost. I would love to possibly have my yard done also. Just need to know realistically if in my budget. Love your work here and on Mackinaw Island. Thanks
On larger projects, with a bit more topography, we do… but this one was a small, little overhaul that didn’t have any paths, patios, or retention needed so it didn’t call for any hardscape- That’s really why we could do it in a day-!
I like how you showed us your design process. How do you site functional areas such as BBQ, fire pit, or play areas for the kids? I am wondering what considerations you take into account when deciding where to place those areas, and how do you incorporate them into the plant life of the garden? Awesome work as always!
Omg, how satisfying to have all that work done in one day, it looks terrific. Jack, I’m in Naples and was wondering if your store is open to the public to come look at the Aqua pots, and if so, what the address is?
🌿DEAR PROVEN WINNERS & JACK🌿: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sponsor (an annual?) garden design giveaway/makeover with Jack! That would be AMAZING to both watch and obviously enter into!! (I live in MD and I will gladly be a test garden! 😎)
She must have had a huge budget! 🥵
So many mature amazing shrubs and trees wowowowowow! Amazing job!

Hi Jack! I so enjoyed this video! I love to watch a project from start to finish!! Great job!! See you in the next one! :)

How I wish I had your great ability from start to finish on landscaping. Gorgeous work, Jack & Crew!
Seeing the design process, from conception to completed, was really cool. 😎 What an amazing crew you work with. 🤩
You are such a natural doing these videos. I love them!
I’m impressed how you switch from south to north with design and plants ! Your head must be spinning … do you sleep lol! Getting to the Grand Garden show this year Yipee ! Never been on the island!
That’s exciting! See you later this summer!!

Hi Jack Gayl from New Zaeland we are just heading into winter so not looking forward to that but hope you have a great summer on the other side of the word😊
I bet some of the neighbors had to do a double take when they came home from work that evening, like wait hold up where did that house come from

Good job. I should have known you winter here in Florida.

Lots more of that coming soon on bigger more detailed projects~ this was kind of a quick lil fun one…
I would love to hear classical as your background music.
I liked the video. I felt it was missing a walking tour of what plants you used and where. I am not familiar with southern tropical plants. I live in Southwest Michigan, as you know, plant choices are limited. I like learning about new plants.

We’ll be back up north real soon!!
I would love to hear the names of the plants you use. Beautiful job!
I want to know about the tree moving method with the forklift! Please!
Just beautiful. So impressed with design and how quickly your team did job. May I ask how much does a make over like this cost. I would love to possibly have my yard done also. Just need to know realistically if in my budget. Love your work here and on Mackinaw Island. Thanks
Jack, I notice that you don't use many stepping stones or boulders down here like you do in Michigan. Is there a reason for that?
Good question. I’m guessing the soil is sandy so probably harder to ship them in from the north?
On larger projects, with a bit more topography, we do… but this one was a small, little overhaul that didn’t have any paths, patios, or retention needed so it didn’t call for any hardscape-
That’s really why we could do it in a day-!

We’ll have a more detailed, much larger scale landscape coming soon where we have all of those elements and more~~~ this was kind of a quickie!
@@JackBarnwellDesign Thank you! i am on the edge of my seat! I love your eye for design. This one turned out so beautiful too.
I love this its so beautiful what u do
