I loved the first two minutes of this video where he ranted about the cognitive dissonance of almost all Westerners and their institutions. I'm a Westerner myself and I really feel what he's saying. There is nobody out there that shares maybe 50% of my views and I don't consider myself belonging to any political camp. I just see all things for what they are and that's basically it. I feel immune to manipulations, fake narratives and all sorts of grand Western ideologies (lies). Almost every given explanation feels like a joke or terror on my mind. But I'm fine with it. I'm happy when I can hear rants like this and many others from this gentleman, so I know I'm sane and everybody else is not. 😉

How will a marriage between the islamic faith and a secular/immoral authority work? Surely, the lesser power will have to compromise on way or the other. We saw that with the church, how they compromise ethics and godly virtue to be accommodated by the state; is that what you want for Islam? An alliance between the Umar and the OCGFC will come at a heavy toll, we can already see it happening in Gaza where many are educated to accept "no action" as part of a political plan. The truth is, there is really no solution to human problem, only trade off. Is trading our soul for greater geopolitical power worth it? What are the alternatives? This are the relevant questions we should ask before any normalisation.
Only Allah knows best to the path all that is happening will lead. My understanding of Brother Bolsen’s stance is that we will be better off under a regime that has a foundation in Islamic ideology. Currently the democracy that we in the West are living under is crumbling right before our very eyes. I believe that for the Ummah to be successful we need to unite with those of us on the ground to form a coalition that promotes good and forbids evil. Our struggles with leadership stem primarily with the Ummah’s inability to come together. We get stuck on petty squabbles instead of focusing on uniting upon our commonalities. Imam Nouman Khan gave a beautiful khutbah on why we as Muslims are not in the position of power that we should be in. The prescription for success is written in the Qua’ran.

My comment is not about being under a particular regime/ rulership. We can demonstrate respect and discourse while still being able to support uplift for the community. Families can support and work together while being in different houses under different rulership.
Cognitive dissonance caused by psychopaths can be devastating. It takes a lot of courage and conscious work to repair it and to continue to discern and resist it.
