THE GRAND BAZAAR OF ISTANBUL - COLOSUL EXPERIENCE 🇹🇷

The Grand Bazaar (Turkish: Kapalıçarşı, meaning ‘Covered Market’; also Büyük Çarşı, meaning ‘Grand Market) in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 4,000 shops on a total area of 30,700 m2, attracting between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. It is listed as the world's most-visited tourist attractions with 91,250,000 annual visitors. The Grand Bazaar at Istanbul is often regarded as one of the first shopping malls of the world.
Personally I was overwhelmed at the sheer scale and variety of shops. I recommend a visit but I also highly recommend shopping behind the bazaar in the outdoor area for much better prices. This transparently priced area is popular with locals and extends as far as the Egyptian Bazaar, so it's a vast area full of bargains and plenty to feast the eye on.

On my bucket list, looks amazing. Have you recorded any kebab vlogs? I found the kebabs in the coastal tourist resorts awful, I've had better kebabs in the UK. And the best kebab I ever had was in Amsterdam. But looking at some of the kebab places you walked past in another video, Istanbul may take the top spot when I finally get to visit.
