@@syazwanmustapah2826 May I ask, have you watched all the movies and understood them properly. The Star Wars movies were actually based around the tragedy of Darth Vader/Anakin. Sequels ruined that. No Skywalker would ever do that.

Technically Starkiller never reached his full potential since he was so young. I don’t even think he was as old as Anakin was in Revenge of the Sith. Anakin was 22 when he became Vader and Starkiller was like 20 or something when he died facing the Emperor. At Star Wars Theory: Of course Anakin's fighting style changed when he turned to the dark side. Jedi: restraint Sith: FIRE EVERYTHING NAO He would still be using form 5, but much MUCH more brutally. And, we do kind if see that.
He also had to literally entirely change the way he used his Form V to compensate for the drwbacks the suit caused like not being able to lift his arms over his head I'm sure you knew this, I'm more so just adding on info for the noobs
I believe Starkiller (like Anakin) is easily capable of holding his own against the likes of Yoda and Mace Windu. I wouldn't say Starkiller can beat Yoda, I would just say he wouldn't go down without a tremendous fight. I believe Anakin is the superior duelist, but Starkiller in his prime would be stronger than Anakin during ROTS unless of course Anakin got a rage boost. Anakin's potential is far greater though. At his full potential he is stronger than The Son and Daughter. TLDR: Full Potential Anakin > Prime Starkiller > ROTS Anakin
Even in ROTS Anakin was beginning to eclipse Palpatine's power, only reason he lost is overconfidence. Also, if you're saying star killer before death not at max potential even had a chance against yoda you're just plain wrong. It would not have been a "tremendous fight". It's written that starkiller feared yoda because he could feel that he was significantly more powerful than him.
Starkiller never reached his prime. He was about 17 years old and his potential was ovet the roof. Thats why Palpatine wanted to replace Vader with Galen, he believed Galen couldve reached a power level greater than Palpatine himself
Thanks, SWT! It is refreshing to see a perspective on how a battle between two Force powered juggernauts like Anakin and Star Killer could have multiple outcomes. They're strengths do depend on circumstances that could be altered canonically or in legend so it makes perfect sense one would beat the other depending on those circumstances. Your approach made this a much more enjoyable video than a lot out there which try to be objective but simply draw the line saying only one or the other would win regardless. Nice job!
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Anakin had more potential for power than Starkiller, it's just that the severity of his injuries cut off much of that potential. Starkiller wasn't any more powerful than Anakin, and there were many other Force-sensitives that were just as powerful as Galen, so I'm not entirely sure why he's singled out as being OP when there are plenty more examples of powerful Force users. Sidious himself easily surpassed Galen in power. Look, I get it. It's a video game, and a lot of that seeming OP-ness comes from the wish-fulfillment fantasy that many games cater to. However, that doesn't mean Galen is OP in the grand scheme of things, there are still many more examples of Force users that are more powerful than Starkiller in the EU, and guess what? It didn't break the universe then, and it still doesn't now. Unlike _certain_ choices taken in the Disquels (we all know what I'm talking about). And at the very least, Starkiller earned much of his prowess through Vader's undoubtly rigorous training.
Lol he just said true anakin at his full potential was like double sidious power. Sidiuous defeated starkiller. Starkiller even struglled a little bit angaist vader so what he is saying is true
Look, I understand that you guys want your favorite character to be the most powerful, but Anakin has been said to be the most powerful had he never been injured, and it's been that way for a long time now. He was literally created by the Force itself! There's more to a character than being the strongest anyway, most of my favorites aren't the strongest.
@@kylewilliams5454 yes he lost alot of potential but he was still far more powerful then any other jedi and was suppose to be at about 80% of palpatine full strengh, someone who could wipe the floor with jedi masters,
@One Shot! One Kill! yes I don’t believe starkiller should of been anywhere near the level of anakin even in his weaker state as he was suppose to be far more powerful than the average Jedi/sith just feels like he is stronger due to plot armour, woulda preferred a more realistic approach to power like the did with cal in fallen order
The twin slayers, full potential Anakin would be far more powerful than legends luke even considering how op luke is in legends. Star Wars theory says in this video, star killer is a dark side version of Luke, though I think Luke should be far more powerful than starkiller, luke’s full potential would resemble starkillers full potential more than Anakin Skywalker’s as the difference in power is just too big between Anakin and Luke
I would think seeing how he was holding Palpatine's lightning with his hands, something that Luke couldn't do, I imagine he is stronger than Anakin was in Revenge of the Sith. But we never saw Anakin at his absolute maximum so no telling how powerful he really could get. Jedi definitely held him back seeing how he trained for over a decade, while Luke trained for a short while and was able to somewhat hold his own with Vader. Jedi likely held him back out of fear, since he really does have more potential than Yoda and they never wanted to train Anakin in the first place. If they didn't hold him back, he'd probably be a living god.
Starkiller was 17 and defeated vader and had Palpatine on the ropes as a child who didn't reach his full potential anakin was 23 in revenge of the sith Starkiller at max potential would be a force to be reckoned with
I don't think they held him back as much as they didn't trust him. Anakin was training with Obi-Wan with no limitations so the only way he thought he was held back in was the rank of master which didn't make him weaker just didn't allow him to look at the old texts to find a way to save his wife.
Well it's funny because Anakin is older than starkiller and starkiller was close to him in power. I do believe starkiller is a little bit weaker in power but we haven't seen him in his prime yet
Exactly like palp was so mad that vader lost bc of his arrogance to prove a point like maul did to obi showing whose superior ,but palp was right he even said it again to Maul when he begged for Mercy in the clone wars which Maul could never be a true Sith bc a real sith doesn’t hold back or show mercy they are swift like sidious force speed.
Mc Without A Name He had the potential to surpass VADER, not full power Anakin. Vader got his limbs chopped off and is only alive due to becoming Grievous on steroids.
@@goroakechi6126 no he meant sidious said that galen had the potential to surpass himself i think he said something along the line of "You could have been my equal my successor"
Its really about the format in which the character and story is carried, compare the clone wars to the movies, the feats are very different, characters in clone wars are much more agile than they are in the movies, and don't even get me started on the 2003 clone wars show, where everyone is super op and can solo armies, Yoda was doing all that stuff star killer is shown doing like pulling massive ships from out of the sky, if you place Starkiller in the movies his feats immedietely become way less grandiose which is why its silly to compare movie Anakin to video game Starkiller, instead we need to compare them in the same format, then it becomes more likely that Anakin could beat him without being fully powered.
Would be an interesting theory as to what would Annakin Skywalker do if he encountered Starkiller if he had remained a Jedi and not turned to the dark side. How would each other regard one another? FazBroGaming 777 I’m really upset, they went with that new game fallen order when unleashed was sooooooo much better. Then again I’m a sucker for og Star Wars games, Jedi academy/knight etc
@@Sam_shootz I get your standpoint. The older games were pretty arcade where you could just pull off whatever you wanted to do and it’d look insane versus the new game looked super realistic and played like it too. It’s a lot like what happened to sports game where you play like a really good athlete would play in their respective sport but you can’t do anything you want to all the time
In Star Wars the clone wars with the son and the daughter, when he was asked to keep them in check basically, it shows he could bend both light and dark.
Well, technically, when The Force Unleashed 1 & 2 were made, it was made directly under the supervision of LucasArts and they were quoted as saying that at the very least the first game IS canon. They even go so far as to have Leia take Galen Merrick's family crest at the end of the first game and proclaim it to be the symbol for the Rebellion. I'm not sure if the second game is considered canonical or not, but the way it was written, with the conclusion being so widely open-ended at the very beginning of the Rebellion fighting back, it could be argued that it too was canon, and that perhaps Galen Merrick still out there somewhere even during the time of the horrific Disney sequels.
I still don’t think Galen reached his pinnacle. As he was only 17 and him still having room to grow. He beat Vader squarely in 1 not in 2 as Vader lets him best him. If he is “dark side Luke.” He’d be able to temporarily hold his ground against Abeloth yeah not canon but Disney can go screw itself. I think Anakin,Luke, and Galen would be close to equal at their bests but plot would work it’s magic some time.
At the same age, no. At max, yes. Starkiller was trained as a weapon and only as a weapon, he did nothing but trained in the art of kill-you for his entire life, so until anakin taps into the power of bullshit he cannot beat starkiller in combat. Starkiller is the unironic embodiment of the quote "while you devoted your time in other shit, I studied the blade/force"
@@dilospino yet starkiller beat him when we was no where near his prime, THAT'S saying something. And that's cap we have no way to know how much stronger Anakin could've been if he was injured so throwing such a bold statement like that legitimately adds nothing to the conversation.
@@BaconPants Nope, but we know Starkiller's prime, the Emperor himself said that Galen could grow up to be his equal. Sidious was one of the top 3 strongest Sith ever, and don't get me wrong, that is no small claim. However, we know how much stronger Anakin could've been, and that is, at least, Legends Luke. And since Legends Luke was declared the most powerful jedi by George himself, well, that ends the discussion. But, to add more context, Vader was said to have 80% of Sidious's power, so, you know, it would be "normal" for him to be defeated by a Force user with the potential to harness 100% of Sidious's power. And then, we have Sidious's own statement to master Yoda in Ep III, "Lord Vader will become more powerful than either of us", so, based on the percentages i explained earlier, and knowing that uninjured Anakin could have AT LEAST 101%+ of Sidious's power, then the contest is settled. Besides we never got to see Anakin in his full dark side prime, so the possibilities are literally almost endless.
U forget Galen was 17 and wasn’t at his full potential, chuck him in at his full potential while he’s protecting Juno and it’s the greatest lightsaber battle in history
I’d argue so The Vader that Galen took, whole incredibly powerful, still hadn’t entirely recovered from Mustafar We see a clone of Galen (whom was arguably more powerful) struggle much more with a further along Vader, to the point where he has to rely upon Vader’s weakness to lightning in order to finish the intense battle
As not even Anakin, Anakin had an almost unlimited power potential as he was the chosen one he would have the power of a cosmic entity as he all alone could control the son and the daughter both embodiments of the force itself, and Anakin would not be even at his 10% during Revange of the Sith, Full Potential Anakin are one of the most powerful beings in the whole Star Wars Universe
As the chosen one Anakin was the son of the force itself, remembering that he didn't have any dad and that The Father was not the force, he just represented the balance in the force and that the ones only are beings that can use the force at ways never seen, Anakin at his full potential would be stronger than the father, in a point of view Anakin is a celestial being as he originated directly from the force, at his full potential he would be the best force user, not best Jedi nor Sith, the best FORCE user of all the SW history and Force users includes celestial beings like The Ones, remembering that full potential Anakin is an Anakin with all his force powers mastered and all his power unlocked, Anakin FP would be a God
Anakin's dark side fighting style, had he not lost his limbs limbs and burned, would have been rage and chaos. Yes it could be overwhelming like a tornado or a hurricane but then again it would depend on where you were standing when the tornado or hurricane arrives. Anakin would have gotten by using overwhelming brute force until he came up against someone who was strong in the Force, strong in Lightsaber fighting, and fighting smart (hmm, kind of like Obi Wan did at Mustafar). Just remember, a "diminished" Vader trained Starkiller.
Firstly vader is much more powerful than anakin theyre barely even relative secondly if starkiller faced vader at his height of power (Return of the jedi) he would have instantaneously been washed away
One thing I’ll say about this is power scaling. The force unleashed games were a different representation of what one could do with the force. If we take it at face value then Starkiller is the strongest force user in the universe. While he is definitely strong, I wouldn’t say hes as strong as an anomaly in the force like Anakin. I wouldn’t put his powers above yoda or the emperor either. The feats he pulls off in the games make everyone in the movies (the true canon) look like inept children even yoda and Palpatine. If I had to rank him and power scale him to what the force can do in the movies versus a video game I’d say he’s somewhere on par with Mace Windu
Uhm no the strongest would still be Anakin. When tapping into some of his potential he made both the Son and Daughter into his bitches and a single one of these beings would make the whole jedi or with order combined look like insects. They are embodiments of the force and therefore they could just use the jedi or sith as a battery not that they'd need to
@@bjermen he was being fueled by Mortis that's hardly a feat you can give him because he only was able to because of his chosen one status and spooky force planet thing.
Lich-Chan Mortis is a glimpse of Anakin at his true Force potential and he was knockin around the embodiments of the Force in their most pure forms with no trouble. That’s def a feat you can give to him considering it gives us an inkling of how powerful his raw force powers would have been if not for his severe injuries. Peak Anakin is unmatched by pretty much anyone aside from the Mother
When you have someone who can literally choke the living shit out of the embodiment of both the light side and dark side at the same time, it's pretty hard to find someone as comparable to him
Full potential Anakin can’t be matched even by legends Luke who is probably the most powerful Star Wars character( other than the son, daughter, father and Abeloth)
If you think about it’s the “force” unleashed. Not the Starkiller unleashed. Think about it. Kota destroys a GIANT hanger room. Vader and Kento throw Tie’s at one another. So he’s not special. Edit from 2 years later: IDK what the f*ck I was taking about that is the dumbest sh!t I’ve ever said in my life. But besides me saying he isn’t special in which after replaying the game a few times, it jogged my memory and I remembered how badass Galen is and also how great of a character he is. It’s still true that the characters has op Force powers. As I mentioned Vader, Kento and Rahm Kota’s feats. But Galen is on a whole other level, I mean the Star Destroyer feat alone is awesome let alone everything else. So yeah, I honestly think Anakin could maybe try to win but Galen is way more in control of his already crazy powers. So yeah this could go either way but in a duel, Anakin just barely wins extreme difficulty and in Force Powers, Galen just barely wins again extreme difficulty.
In Legends, Anakin should win, as he was stated to be the strongest Jedi ever, and on par with Sidious in the novels, and guess who killed Starkiller 🗿
Johan revan held his own against vitiate, the immortal sith emperor and 4 of the most powerful Jedi and sith all at once and you mean to tell me that mfn puny ass Anakin is gonna beat his ass. Bs
Got to lean towards Starkiller for the sole reason that the game was literally called “The Force Unleashed” because of what they wanted the character of Starkiller to be. They made Starkiller for the sole purpose of saying “okay what if we made this character who was just insanely powerful in the force and how they would go about using it for the purpose of good/evil.” I still think they have the perfect chance to make Starkiller in canon as an inquisitor and keep his personality intact, but obviously tone down his abilities to be in line with the story
Totally agree, if Padme was in serious danger, Anakin would go crazy-level powerful. Also agree that if it’s a fight to protect/save Padme, Anakin’s arrogance wouldn’t make an appearance. I’d like to see an in-depth versus based on this vid.
@Star Killer Anakin is more powerful than Rey and Kylo tho lmaoo even John Boyega stated that. it was the power from the Jedi in the final battle that helped her
to be frank i'd make him nearly as powerful as PostROTS/Rebels Ashoka if i was to bring him back into Canon. because Ashoka was older she'd have the experience edge hence forth the head-start of the power advantage.
I feel that starkiller is truly a force to be reckoned with. He literally pulls a star destroyer out of a planets atmosphere. And then he completely slays Vader TWICE. And if Juno Eclipse is put in harm's way in front of Starkiller there's no telling what he'd do
I love starkiller he's my favourite character in all of star wars and I love his story. His story reminds me a parallel to Anakin's and it's always nice to hear you talk about Starkiller. I know its some bias on my part but I can't see Anakin beating him.. Anakin being fuled by the desire of protection would be same as Starkiller protecting Juno. I think it'd be a VERY close fight but I think each outcome Starkiller would win. Homeboy beat Vader and held off Palps at 18 in order to save his friends and that was Galen not even Starkiller at that point. My money is always on Starkiller. Also is ligthsaber combat I think Starkiller takes that over Anakin. Just my opinions. I love this video I hope you'll make more on Starkiller in the future keep up the good work and I love the increase in quality lately. P.S apart of me has always felt since Satrkiller and Anakin parallel each other in certain ways I've always felt if we ever got to see Anakin and his full potential it would be what Starkiller is
I think the Force is alive, and has a plan for the Star Wars universe. About once a generation, the Force makes an extremely powerful Force user in order for them serve a role in some mystical grand plan. Then they are discarded once they have served their purpose. Revan, Yoda, Anakin, Luke, Starkiller, etc. All examples of this. Starkiller is just another super powerful force user in a long line of super powerful force users. To me, there is no such thing as "full potential" Anakin. The Force would never allow it, and that's not the story the Force wrote for Anakin. He was always meant to be a crippled Vader.
@@preacher8417 - I believe... if there are any unexpected changes in the Force's plan (like Luke exiling himself to a hidden island for 20 years), then the Force *will* auto-correct the universe. The Force shall manipulate events, change things around, and even create another super powerful Force user to make up for the unexpected changes. That's why it created Rey. Luke was supposed to do more, but Luke rebelled against the will of the Force. Rey was created by the Force to fill in the gap Luke created, and get the Force's "mysterious plan" back on track. If Anakin *somehow* avoided getting crippled on Mustafar, then the Force would just keep trying to manipulate events to push Anakin into becoming a crippled Darth Vader. The Force would make Anakin's life so "violently chaotic" in order to cripple Anakin. Like... Maybe one day Anakin's ship "mysteriously crashes", and explodes into flames. Maybe an unexpected assassin explodes a bomb and burns Anakin. The Force would make sure Anakin would never know enough peace to ever train, and reach his "full potential". The only way Anakin could survive without getting crippled would be exiling himself on some island (like Luke did), cutting himself off from the Force, and avoiding all contact with the outside world. If that happens, then the Force would just create another super powerful force user, and use them as a pawn for its plan for the Star Wars universe. And the cycle repeats.

TLDR:
Full Potential Anakin > Prime Starkiller > ROTS Anakin
But you do know that Anakin in Revenge of the Sith is stronger than Yoda and equal to Palpatine right? imgur.com/a/mPlpU0X
Yoda was stronger than Palpatine in revenge of the sith its already confirmed anakin was more powerful than both but not properly trained

Nice job!
Somehow I never thought about this, I am with Anakin all the way. Really glad your returning to your fantasy battles, thanks for the vid man :)
Short answer: Revan is more powerful than both
I agree with this
@Star Killer how was that bs?
Lol he just said true anakin at his full potential was like double sidious power. Sidiuous defeated starkiller. Starkiller even struglled a little bit angaist vader so what he is saying is true
Look, I understand that you guys want your favorite character to be the most powerful, but Anakin has been said to be the most powerful had he never been injured, and it's been that way for a long time now. He was literally created by the Force itself! There's more to a character than being the strongest anyway, most of my favorites aren't the strongest.

I always figured Star Killer is what Anakin would have been in just a few years after ROTS had he not had his potential crippled
Just remember that starkiller was only 17 when he defeated vader and died to sidious. Both of them would be scary at full potential.
"Anakin has a way with using his emotions. They definitely get the best of him."

I never really considered the similarities between Maul's loss to Obi Wan and Anakin's loss to Obi Wan. He tried using obi wan's move against him.

Anakin's dark side fighting style, had he not lost his limbs limbs and burned, would have been rage and chaos. Yes it could be overwhelming like a tornado or a hurricane but then again it would depend on where you were standing when the tornado or hurricane arrives. It’s interesting because Starkiller was only 17, and he was already ver powerful. Imagine how powerful he could’ve been once he got older.
We need a what if Star Wars to see how powerful he would be
One thing I’ll say about this is power scaling.
@@cesarl2963 legends Luke is very powerful he could be almost at the same power of full potential anakin
My money in almost every situation is galen marek. But as a wise man once said. "Let them fight"
so according to this video, Anakin was a grey Jedi. In the line between light and dark. Tbh that actually makes a lot of sense.
Starkiller redirected a crashing star destroyer.
...
I did not finish the game
Mandolorian oh sorry
The_SCP _Foundation yeah. But still. The other are OP in the game too. But Galen is STRoNG!!!!!!!!
First time seeing the new intro, Damn, that's badass
In Legends, Anakin should win, as he was stated to be the strongest Jedi ever, and on par with Sidious in the novels, and guess who killed Starkiller 🗿
@Star Killer never killed Palpatine
@Star Killer and that Vader wasn't close to his Prime at all, that was before episode 4, Vader got in his Prime in episode 6
@Sub 2 Me 4 No Reason based off what? Starkiller being able to beat a non prime Vader?
@Joseph Revan too busy having an identity crisis to fight anyone right now
Johan revan held his own against vitiate, the immortal sith emperor and 4 of the most powerful Jedi and sith all at once and you mean to tell me that mfn puny ass Anakin is gonna beat his ass.
Totally agree in that one
I love your channel, I love videos like these
maul: it's over Obi wan i have the high ground
Grandmaster Luke is what a full potential Anakin could’ve been so obviously Anakin at his full potential crushes Starkiller.
even grandmaster luke would be less powerfull than full potential anakin
@@the4given196 Actually no. George Lucas has stated himself that legends Luke is the MOST POWERFUL force user ever
Totally agree, if Padme was in serious danger, Anakin would go crazy-level powerful. Also agree that if it’s a fight to protect/save Padme, Anakin’s arrogance wouldn’t make an appearance. I’d like to see an in-depth versus based on this vid.
Star killer is one of the few legends characters I probably wouldn’t want canonized. Unless they nerfed him some.
Star Killer lol I’m not Disney
@Star Killer yeah man that's tough
@Star Killer Anakin is more powerful than Rey and Kylo tho lmaoo even John Boyega stated that. it was the power from the Jedi in the final battle that helped her
to be frank i'd make him nearly as powerful as PostROTS/Rebels Ashoka if i was to bring him back into Canon.
because Ashoka was older she'd have the experience edge hence forth the head-start of the power advantage.
Dude really? In cannon we have Darth Nihilus, Darth Revan even Mace Windu haha, makes no sense your idea to nerf Galen Marek (Starkiller)
I feel that starkiller is truly a force to be reckoned with. He literally pulls a star destroyer out of a planets atmosphere. And then he completely slays Vader TWICE. And if Juno Eclipse is put in harm's way in front of Starkiller there's no telling what he'd do
"Completely slays" he barely beat Vader both times lmao, and the second time he only won cause of the environment
Galens midocholrian count gotta be like 100,000
Anakin protecting Padmé vs. Star killer protecting Juno
Whelp, I'm early, let's see, *insert prequel meme here*
That should get me a lot of likes!
We will watch your carreer with great interest.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
P.S apart of me has always felt since Satrkiller and Anakin parallel each other in certain ways I've always felt if we ever got to see Anakin and his full potential it would be what Starkiller is
Anakin at his full potential would be far beyond starkiller, he would be unstoppable.
Love these types of videos
Holy Mother of Anakin I'm early.
Would that be Holy Shmi Skywalker?
rey skywalker is still the best
it’s a joke please don’t murder me
T. B. Phillips Rey isn’t a skywalker...
T. B. Phillips she’s a palpatine
Padme would use her own Force abilities on him. Anakin would smile.
What makes TFU2 ironic is that the scenario you described with padme is what happened to Starkiller where Vader threatened the life of Juno
XD
There is not anything that is written that can not be unwritten
Daaaamn, that was some good explanation
I've always thought this. Wish Starkiller was canon again
