Thanks for the tutorial. It's amazing the negatives messages even after somebody is helping them to save lots of money.. People needs to reflex and do a lot of meditation..
nice to see a getz, but should remove clips and apply copper grease to moving areas where pad touches caliper housing. Should have given everything a good clean as even new pads wont move well on dirty housing. Also recommend to replace clips/hardware, also CRUCIAL with getz in the UK to remove the SLIDER PIN from the caliper (just undo and pull out), clean thoroughly and apply silicone paste (not old fashioned graphite tube stuff), to stop the sliders sticking and seizing in winter.
Thank you for the valuable clarification,. Your feedback is very important for us to understand how to demonstrate in more detail in new videos. Best regards, Autodoc team
Thank you for your comment. You are absolutely right, some points were missed, we have already added this information in new videos. Best Regards, Autodoc team.
Should they have been adjusted also as they're new replacing old so won't they be set to the old ones wearing straight into the new ones unless adjusted?
@@autodocuk hey guys sorry, I'm not a mechanic but some other brake change videos I've seen. when they've changed them, they've adjusted the brakes so that they're not already pressing against the rotor, because say you've got 10mm thickness on the new shoes and the previous ones were 2mm it's already putting pressure on the new shoes if that makes sense? Lol cheers guys.

why would you need the hand brake on when the car is on a lift ??? if u do this job yourself in your road/drive with a trolley jack then obviously u do and chock the rear wheels just in case the car rolling
Thank you for your feedback ! Thank you for your valuable remark. We will surely take it into account, however, it is better to use anti-squealing grease for pads, you can find it on our website , the article number 3077 Liqui Moly.

Very bad and cheap job, and no security: Where is the cobber grease, the brake grease for rubber, and the anti-noice grease for backside of brakepads? And no rinsing of the brake disc?

Always thought righty righty lefty loosy makes it confusing with tight bolts! Anti clockwise should undo bolts
That's correct, counterclockwise.
Thanks a lot .

No cleaning or greasing of the brakes, what a shit job...
You forgot to put copper grease on the pads

This is example of a very bad brake job. Brakes will squeal or drag 100%. You didn't lubricated or cleaned anything.

@@autodocuk How can it be classed as a 'repair' if all your doing is a bad job.
@@autodocukyea doc im after the CORRECT WAY to replace the pads NOT the fast cheap way…. I DONT offer 3 kinds of service just the RIGHT 1
so not true . didnt show how to bleed the brakes or release pressure line
Thank you for your feedback! Some procedures were omitted. Our new videos will necessary include this information. Best regards, Autodoc.
The manner he did it he doesn't need to bleed coz he dd not open the pressure lines, he only needs to pump the pedal
No torque settings
You can find this information in the technical documentation for repairing your car.
