Thank you for the appreciation! Aligning the left and right-handed notes and adding the lyrics took some time to make. I need to up my editing skills, lol.
An interesting thing about the Lyre: I got mine on Monday, have learned TONS of songs since then. I am usually an avid nailbiter, I do it subconciously. I've tried things from spicy stuff under the nails, to nail polish. It hasnt worked. The second I ordered the Lyre, I stopped. Like my brain subconciously realized that I will not be able to comfortably play the lyre for extended periods of time without nails. I've only noticed a handful of instances now where i'll reach my hand up to bite my nails, but as soon as I feel my fingers near my lips I'm just able to focus on stopping. It's like those stories of an alchoholic dad realizing his wife is pregnant, and IMMEDIATELY sobering up and attending AA meetings for his incoming child.
Wow, that's truly fascinating! It's wonderful to hear how the lyre has brought about this positive change for you. I like how you analyzed the connection and shared this powerful story with me. Thank you for sharing your experience. Please keep up the great work! :)
I just ordered my Lyre! I'm so excited to learn this once it arrives! It feels like fate that you posted this cover since I love Hades so much. Your cover is fantastic!
That's awesome! My video came at exactly the right time then! I hope you have an amazing time creating music. If you have questions, feel free to reach out!
Thanks! I added the lyrics to show which part I was playing, as I've cut out some parts of the song because of the sharp / flat issue. I don't do this normally because it takes a lot of time, lol. I'm glad you liked this presentation!
I've seen multiple people in the comment sections on this channel ask, "can you play this song on a seven-string lyre?" The answer is yes. (I will be posting this comment on every video so everyone can see it) I had the same problem so I tuned my lyre to be E F G A B C D so I'd be able to play almost any song on this channel. The only problem in tuning the lyre this way is that you can't play 2 of the same notes on the lyre on higher cords Example: (G G') When that happens just play the singular G note if it looks like this: G G' -Just play the G note twice. Sometimes, certain songs have lots of different notes in multiple keys that you may be unable to fit onto your lyre. Random example, you might need EFGABCD C’ B’ A’ for a song, but you only have 7 strings. First, you can just play C instead of C’ or you can experiment and possibly use D because it has a higher note, and it may sound better (or worse) but you can try that out. Secondly, most songs use two hands, usually with one hand as the main melody, and the other with the background melody or beats. If you use both hands for the main melody, you can remove the extra background notes but that will take lots of time. If you want to play a song but the previous method didn't work for you, you can tune your lyre to be able to play the main melody. It may not sound whole, but it is identifiable. (think of it like those piano tutorials on RUclips, the easy versions have the main melody but most of the notes are removed to have the most basic sound) It works but you may have to occasionally tune the cords for certain songs that are higher or lower pitch of your song. This way works (for most songs) and I know because I learned a few songs already.
Your videos inspired me to order a lyre! Thank you for all the content and songs you cover. Not sure if you take requests, but I think Liquescimus (houseki no kuni ending) would be beautiful on the lyre.
This was a nice one, and I also like how you added the lyrics below the notes. I could imagine the singing as I'm listening. That's quite a nice touch. Very great work as always my friend! I enjoyed this sound/performance! 👍 👍 🌟 🎶 🎵 👩🏻🏫 💐 Ps- I didn't even notice the construction noises. I was too caught up in the hypnotic sounds of the Lyre. Just thought I'd let you know. 😅 🚫 🔨 🪚
Thank you so much! The construction has been going on from Monday to Saturday. It's quite crazy! I've tried applying noise reduction to the recording, and it did help a bit. I'm relieved to hear that you didn't find the noise disturbing. I've cut out chunks from the original music (my lyre doesn't accommodate those notes), which is why I added the lyrics to indicate the part I was playing, lol. Aligning the left and right-handed notes took quite some time, so was adding the lyrics. Hopefully, I won't have to do this very often in future videos, lol.
@@SamanthaonMars I often find the video editing parts some of the most time consuming parts indeed, and that includes little details like the texts and whatever else. Noise reduction huh? Sounds interesting, and something I will have to look into for my audio recordings of nature sounds. It could be a big help to keep things cleaner and more focused on the sound I'm zoning in on instead of the dogs barking or chatter in the distance. You're welcome! :)
@@LoneTreePeak Video editing is often the part I procrastinate the most because I don't typically enjoy the process, lol. Noise reduction is more like removing background static / white noise / hum, etc. Sudden surges in volume such as a dog's bark or a loud construction noise cannot be eliminated this way. I wish to know how it's done. Maybe there's an AI for it. Have you heard of the song "Now and Then" released 2 weeks ago? It's the final song of the Beatles, featuring the voice of John Lennon from a demo he made decades ago when he was still alive. They weren't able to isolate his vocal from the background in the demo, until recently with AI, and that's when they were able to make the song. I cried many times listening to this song.
@SamanthaonMars Ahhhh I see. Well that's better than nothing as using the sound recorder picks up a lot, so anything that will clear it up can help. Thanks for the info! As of the Beatles song, I haven't heard it yet. I'll have to check it out, and it sounds like it impacted you to a high degree. That's pretty special. This AI stuff is a game changer for sure. I've heard some AI singers and they're getting really good. Even AI generated music. It's a trip. I guess later maybe imperfections in music will be valued a bit differently with AI going to produce so much high quality music. In the future people might have to dig around to find human composed music. 😅 I'm sure we will see/hear a whole lot within the next decade even. What a time to be alive eh? 😁
@@LoneTreePeak The Beatles has a special place in many people's hearts, including mine. A lot of people cried when they listened to this song, at least that's what people said in the comments under the video. You're absolutely right about AI. I wonder if there'll come a time when AI gets so good that we can't tell which is real anymore.
Hello! It depends on the design and the number of strings. 16 and 19 strings are both great for beginners. There are a few brands with the hollow deer design, and I've only used the Aklot 16-string lyre, so I can only speak about this model. I found it to be a good lyre overall. The only minor issue I encountered was that the strings are positioned a bit closer together compared to other Aklot lyres, making it easier to accidentally hit adjacent strings. Aside from that, I'm quite satisfied with it.
Thank you so much! ❤ Others have suggested Pokemon songs to me too. Personally, I'm not too familiar with Pokemon. I may consider them some day. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's fantastic progress! Thank you for sharing it with me. For Bard's Song by Blind Guardian, I found this video tutorial for the piano: ruclips.net/video/BepnKWQ5TFk/видео.html . If you follow the green notes on the right-hand side, they represent the melody. It's already in C major so you don't have to re-tune your lyre. I also found sheet music for this song written in C major, which I'll share in the next comment. Just in case RUclips removes the link (sometimes they don't like external links), search for the song on musescore dot com. Hope it helps you a little!
