How is this an NCLEX RN review when there are no nursing interventions or diagnosis to go along with this video? This is more a med/surg video.

Don't be ungrateful my dear understanding the pathophysiology is very important when trying to formulate your nursing interventions and its FREEEEEE so now go back and make use of Saunders textbook

I have spastic diplegia and this is a question that has been making me bonkers. I was never good at math in school and I didnt always catch on right away but all my math teachers would always say that once they sat down and explained it to me that I was a really bright guy. To this day I can add, subtract, multiply, divide, and do percentages (most of the time). I'm no math expert but I know what I need to survive. But like let's say mental math for example. I'm much better at solving a problem if I could write down and physically see the numbers. Could cerebral palsy do that? I would think that if cerebral palsy was affecting my math specifically then i wouldn't be able to figure it out regardless of writing the problem down on paper or not. This has been really bothering me and makes me feel stupid. Like I know I am not stupid but I feel like if it is in fact cerebral palsy hindering my math abilities that this is one more thing the condition took from me and I am somehow less intelligent than the average person. If anyone can provide me with any kind of tiny clarification of what's going on with me based on what I said, it would really help put my mind at ease.

Joey Horist you are not stupid. I have cp as well and could get meth when someone explained it, but not in my own. In later math I was able to get the harder parts but not the easier parts. It may have something to do with the way our brains learn due to cp i have to draw pictures for math as well. That would make sense to me. However, it may just help to focus on your strengths. I try to. You are not alone

I have spastic diplegia...a question that bothers me is sometimes when I'm looking at pictures I can't figure out what its a picture of unless I move the picture and then I can identify the image...it doesn't happen with all pictures but it happens at least once a day. Does anyone else ever experience this?

Don’t buy into everyone’s crap. I have spastic diplegia and I’ve always been smart. I have three graduate degrees. Everyone wants to think that we’re stupid because it makes them feel better, or they are just ignorant. So don’t go around finding ways to make yourself feel stupid. Everyone else is going to do it, so the only person who can counter that is you. Don’t go around looking for reasons to not be brilliant when you probably are.
