Great review! I own this one and never noticed the travel cap, just learned something new lol. On me the pineapple note screams off my skin to where it’s almost headache inducing then is simmer down to a musky/birch/cedar dry down. Really like it.

I swear this thing lasts forever, after 8 hours of strong projection took a shower left bathroom came back and the whole bathroom smelled orion. This thing is definition of beast projection and longetivity
Totally love Orion. Got a great deal on Orion from notino a couple weeks ago. I was browsing notino at like 1 in the morning and it was like 80 bucks so I ordered it. The next morning it was back up to 220 bucks! Real happy with this one ☺️

Cool, to see this review. I picked Orion up on the same sale. I’m finding I like it more if I don’t try to compare it directly to Aventus. Almost as though it’s some kind of flanker/cousin. I was hoping to use it for spring and summer but it seems that much past Spring wouldn’t be wise. Also thanks for pointing out the travel lid, I completely missed that!!
I like this one, I'll probably wear it more in Spring/Fall and maybe a little in Winter. In Summer I'll go for Aventus, Bond no 9.com or Cedrat Boise most likely.

I picked this one up BUT I'm not that impressed as of yet! However I think it is more versatile than the current form of Aventus with better longevity so its better value really.
I was in TJ Maxx and saw a bunch of fragrances by this company nu parfum. They were cheap so I picked up 3 of them. to my surprise there aren't many videos on them or reviews but they smell pretty damn good. Have you heard of this brand? I bought Black is Black Pour Homme, Black is Black Modern Oud and Triumphant Silver Glory. Cool bottles too.

I'll put those on my "to try" list. I'm hearing good things so I'm interested to try them.
So far Jeroboam has taken over Aventus for me , can't believe I'm saying that . I just find it darker and more complex so I'm enjoying it with these Canadian winter temps.

My nose smells nothing close with Tiziana Terenzi and Creed’s Aventus at all, Tiziana has their own distinct DNA in all of their frags but that’s me. I’ve found any niche frag that hints at pineapple or has pineapple is called a clone or inspired by Aventus. The only “clones” I’ve found are cheap ones that last 5 minutes. In my opinion Tiziana is better due to their performance and sillage. The best fragrance with pineapple imo is Nishane’s Hacivat. That will last all day strong unlike any Creed. I do like creed but only own two of them because for their price their performance does not really meet my standard. I don’t mind paying top dollar but I want beasts for the money along with compliments. Just my 2 cents
Spot on Review here! I bought this in late fall and been wearing it in place of aventus through the cooler months and it definitely performs better than aventus on me in cooler weather. Smell description is also perfect, to me it's a darker slightly funkier aventus. I did pay more than $80 but check out Alan at Beverly Hills if notiono price goes back up. Glad to see you more active again Ashton, I have actually been digging the movie reviews too. The last one made me wanna dig my throwing stars outta my parents attic!

Damn! Wish I knew about that sale from Notino before they shut down their U.S site for revamping. Wanted to try this one but, like you stated, not for the usual price it's normally at. Dig the new name, new all around format and new opening theme/music. I still gotta get like you with that bit of overkill you have of Virgin Island Water, my favorite juice!

Personally I prefer scents by Paolo Terenzi much more. Ursa, Lillipur.. It's pure fantasy for me. And from price point I prefer clones made by Armaf, MyPerfume, Alexandria and Rasasi. For me, they're better.

Can you do a first impression on Ted Baker. I found their new releases at Nordstrom. The names are based on the chemistry table. I liked Au. It reminds me of spices bomb. But I was our of the store quick so I didn't have time with it. There's no mention of them on fragrantica yet.
Haven't heard about those yet, I'll see if I can track one down.
My Best Aventus clone is Cedrat Boise by Mancera, every one wanna be like aventus so it's still the king :) may be due to the quality of its natural ingredients.

Why’s notino down ?
I had a bad experience with Fragrancenet a long time ago, so I won't ever be buying from Notino either. No hate intended, if ppl are having positive experiences, all the power...just wanted to chime in on my personal stance on those kinds of companies. And never-ever Amazon again. Half the samples I received were clear fakes (I knew what they were supposed to smell like. Amazon clearly not policing frags at all). P.S. Always get a kick outta seeing what other content people who've done only one subject will put out; gives us more insight into them. Cheers.
Amazon doesn't really police at all unless they get multiple complaints against someone for fakes and even then I don't know if they really do much. I've had positive and negative experiences from Notino and FragranceNet both unfortunately.
