I'm 40 and grew up during the Jungle era. Nia's music is a breath of sweet nostalgia and with a scene that's become dominated by white middle class artists deploying the same drum beat it's refreshing to see the Afro Caribbean (and African) connection relinked.
Big support for your work nia, peace from mexico

Why is jungle “black “ music ?
Because it holds reggae and dub dancehall undertones in the beat.
It’s true that jungle originated in the UK when EDM was a wave but jungle was created by mostly black artists.
Do some research and u will find out why lol

DnB is a prime example of the 'cuckoo' effect where originators got pushed out of the nest. You comment goes to show how far removed the genre and its modern fan base are from the music's history. I'm glad to see Nia reclaim the music of mainly black but also white working class Britain.
@@callumknights596 EDM's roots are in House Music, once again a Black genre now mostly white.
