Thank you, most videos about aux send presumes the listener has some knowledge of the subject. Your video takes an inexperienced person such as myself and helps them understand what's being taught. Nice work.
There is only a single xlr out for Aux 1. I’m confused about how to get both left and right signals out of the single xlr output for Aux 1. Can you tell me how to get the stereo signal to the in ear monitors?
As you said you had someone ask you if you can pair the aux in stereo. could you show in more detail how to do that. I know on the TF rack half of the omni outs are 1/4 trs., can they be paired in stereo?
@@raysenkalalo figured it out. This is what yamaha told me and what i did. go to Setup>Bus setup. In there the stereo auxes will have a PAN LINK function, that links the aux and the main pans. Deselect this and the aux pan will be independent
I’d like a stereo aux (like 18/19) to always match or follow the main levels - so that whatever is adjusted for the mains, same happens for aux out. The aux out is to go to a live streaming box (for a church service). Any hints on how to do this without constantly manually matching the main levels and the aux levels? Thank you!
That's a good use for your matrices. Route your Stereo mix into Matrix 1 and 2. Route stereo L to Matrix 1, Stereo R to Matrix 2. Then your stereo mix goes out to webcast, but you have a separate spot to control level to webcast.
What's happening on our TF5 is, if I'm in the main custom fader bank mixing house, the faders for main and my groups is ALSO affecting ALL AUX sends. What have we setup wrong?
Man what a frustrating thing, I have just followed this to the letter. I have all my speakers plugged in, I have Monitor 1 plugged into Omni 1 I have My stereo front house speakers in omni's 15 and 16, for the sake of seeing it working and hearing it working, I have a vocal mic in input 11 and I have an acoustic guitar in input channel 5 I have done what you have just showed and it seemed to be working fine, Until I then went back to the house and the faders changed for my set house mix, I go back to monitors and the faders changed back to monitor mix, but the monitor mix is coming out of the front house as well as the monitors and vise versa when I go back to house mix that mix is coming from all speakers? What in gods name am I doing wrong Now? Help Please? If you know what I need to do please dont keep the advice to yourself ?
Yes thank you. I've watched 20 videos and still didn't know how this worked. 5 minutes of a good explanation is helpful.
