  • Bobby Flay Vs. Tony Danza: Whose Meatballs Are Better?
    The winner might surprise you.
    When we found out that Tony Danza had a good meatball recipe, we were overcome with excitement. He's not the kind of celeb who cooks to be trendy. (Or least we didn't think he would be.) We were very eager to test his recipe, but we needed something to compare it to. Enter: Bobby Flay.
    If you like to cook, chances are very high that you've cooked with Flay - either by way of TV or cookbook. Most of his dishes are highly rated on FoodNetwork.com, including his meatball recipe. If Danza's recipe could compete with his, we thought, it must be pretty dang good. So we threw a snackdown.

    I've watched like 5 of these videos in a row and it's extremely annoying that we can't see which dish they're talking about when they're taste testing

  • @justachick9793

    Ya know, instead of just hearing the random comments from the people tasting the food, maybe you could show us which dish they're sampling so we know which comments go to which food. You know, like actually show us the thing that's supposed to be the subject of the video? Just a thought.

    "Low and slow" never fails, baby. Bobby Flay needs to try a little tenderness! Of course, time is a crucial factor in the kitchen and there's only so much space on a stove for the prep guys, so 30 minutes sense because that extra hour and a half could mean life or death at dinner service.

    A wooden spoon used on raw meat?????

    • @ry.the.stunner
      @ry.the.stunner 5 лет назад +7

      The idea that wooden spoons are more prone to harboring bacteria from raw meat is a myth. It's actually the preferred utensil over others as studies have shown that bacteria does not persist on wood. The idea of not using a wooden spoon is that you do not allow it to come into contact with ready-to-eat food, which is where cross-contamination comes into play.
