He’s authoritarian and divisive. He treats Canadians either with condescension or contempt based on which “side” he views you on. He is spiteful, childish and narcissistic. I “don’t like him” doesn’t even scratch the surface of how many Canadians think about him.

It's hard to believe that an entire country can become victims of abuse from narcissistic disorder. I also believe that Freeland will run against Pierre if he is elected conservative leader because Trudeau will step aside because he is afraid of how Pierre will expose his lies to us and the biggest fear for a narcissist is to be exposed publicly as a fraud. Justin will step aside to keep his false self protected and walk away from politics to maintain his feeling of importance and entitlement instead of risking being exposed and losing.

Trudeau Junior was disconnected from Canadian reality a very long time ago, and processes daily situational data before him strictly as it pertains to how it may help, or hinder, his hold on power.
This is why he proactively made Singh an offer he couldn't refuse, thereby politically barricading the both of them in office up until 2025.
Until then, however, both those clowns will unwittingly do a lot more damage to this nation than one can even imagine.

We have had populism pushed on us for the past couple decades, from both the political left and most recently in a growing trend in nationalism on the right (remember, populism is a tactic, not an ideology). We collectively left competency at the door years ago and it seems people are just starting to realize how the ‘likeability’ which governed our political choices have led to certain consequences. Harper was a competent economist and politician but characterized as unlikeable and therefore had to be removed as PM for an inexperienced politician with no academic background that would aide in making complex decisions but was characterized as young and likeable. If we are to survive as Canadians, political parties of all stripes need to focus on competency and not electability in deciding leaders.

He doesn’t have to be trusted or liked but competent and receptive to the voter and he and his ministerial choices have been neither. The most competent/qualified minister he had (Morneau) quit because the PM wouldn’t listen to sound economic advice and the second most he fired (Wilson) was because she wouldn’t break the law for him.

We still don’t trust or like him. If this panel did their research like they’re suggesting many Canadians don’t, this conversation would have gone differently.

I'm left-leaning, but I don't like Trudeau. It's not so much the scandals, it's more the policies and decisions his government has made regarding the most important issues: cost of living, housing, immigration, taxes, economy, foreign policy and national security, etc. I can deal with the scandals, woke ideology and political correctness, if he had good and effective policies that benefited Canadians. It's ultimately about policy, that's what matters to voters the most.
By the way, with Hillary Clinton, she may have experience and some accomplishments, and yes there was misogyny and sexism towards her. Obviously, that's unacceptable. However, her corruption and scandals are really glaring. She is not as innocent as some liberals, including you guys (ie. hosts of this show), make her out to be. Look at what she and the DNC did in 2016, rigging the primary against Bernie Sanders. My point is some of the wounds were self-inflicted and it wasn't just sexism and misogyny. She ran a really bad and ineffective campaign while not speaking to people in middle America, and you combine that with her corruption, and it's not surprising that she lost in 2016. I don't like Trump by the way, and he was an awful president, in case people are wondering.
And Clinton had no role whatsoever in “rigging “ the primary. That’s absurd. The DNC wanted Biden from day one and Clinton fully supported that from the beginning if only because he was the only candidate that could be counted upon to beat Trump which had to be the only consideration because of what was at stake. Wonder where you’re getting bogus news like that. Point to American elections if you must, but at least get it right.

He went against the science, especially when it comes to mandating the vaccine for travel simply for political purposes, he was told that there was a possible breakthrough with the freedom convoy before invoking the emergencies act, the rcmp have come out and said they did not ask for the emergencies act to be invoked.
