I recently purchased the X-Ergo and the XEvo and the Alpha 2.0 and what I found was that you can actually use one of the few click levers that come with Gamma /SC with the Stretch bracket. It will disengage from the last section on the lever bracket and drop down one more "click" past what would be full open. It will also reseat into the bracket when you engage the lever back up towards full closed
What lever are you using?
Just got these. Cutting wise they are comparable to the jrl 2020c even though they have completely different motors. What i love about them is that its the best clipper ive ever used for the skin line to the half and that you can hear every hair being cut.
Weight wise its like maybe a tad lighter than a corded senior maybe the same weight. I was a corded master fanatic back in the day so i dont mind heavy clippers but its definitely not masters heavy.
Everything else is great with the clipper. Just the weight and big body of the clipper might turn some people off. But theres nothing else not to like about it. Power, torque fading, clipper over comb, blades are sharp and dont snag skin or anything, can cut even wet hair which surprised me a lot actually.
I still prefer jrl 2020c though because of how light it is and still has the same power with an extra hour of battery life. I feel like i can move faster through a haircut because of how light it is. I pull the mythic out for detailing and doing the skin line to the half. The rest i use my jrl for.

@@ainjuhl4509 ive seen it already its ok too but imo, if a clipper is supposed to be more sturdy/well built (hints) its has a metal housing, its going to be heavier, so the fact that the saber has metal housing, just like the mythic, but is supposed to be lighter kinda shows me that if anything the mythic would probably be more durable, and another barber on youtube ran the mythic over with his truck and it still worked🤷🏾♂️
Ima master kind of guy. This is how I feel about my masters. I put a ceramic blade on it and nothing fades better

How heavy is this mythic ,is it heavier than the cordless senior?
I found it takes a long time to charge. But, yes!!! This thing is stupid heavy. I did notice it cuts very well, but wasn't aware of the new cutting blade. Good to know.
If you learned how to fade with clippers with a cord this clipper is actually apt lighter. I have two of them and I love this things. Super quiet, super powerful. The only cordeles clipper I like. Again, compared to wahl senior this clipper is much much lighter.

Had issues with it skin snagging thought it was the blade switch the blade and still the same issue

Clippers look good I hear so much good stuff about them. As for the jrl guards rattling try this see if it works sometimes the left corner is out of place and that’s because the guards fit real tight so push the left corner of the guard to push in place hope that works
Ilike always man I appreciate your videos! The clipper looks solid and promising. Im very interested on them gamma guards. I love my JRLs but this clipper appear to be a clipper rather than the Ergos

Do people buy these for trimming their beards. Im tired of using norelco one blade plastic junk. So i might buy this and then the Gamma x evo trimmer and i never let my beard go past half inch long.
You recently got the caliber 9mm. How does it stack up against this clipper? Also, at the end of the year. You should do an UNBIAS video on your top or best clipper of 2021. :) .
I would definitely pick this over the 9mm. The 9mm is not a bad clipper but this just gives a smoother cut. The 9 has a longer run time though and is much cheaper.
would you prefer these or wahl seniors as an all around clipper

@@derekmatake75 I ended up getting the rebels and also sabers. I really wanted the mythic because of the power and weight. I have no complaints of either. Rebel feels more premium but they both cut well.

They cut very similar honestly. Only thing i think these are better at is for the skin to the half. I also like that you can hear every hair being cut with these.
I prefer the jrl for everything else though because its way lighter. So you can move more quickly through a haircut with them. Then the battery lasts an hour longer and its more ergonomic. I think these two make a deadly combination all in all.

I wish gamma sc would do the heavy duty ergo make the bottom half metal Nd the top plastic with see through window. Thats perfect but the wahl senior is like that. If they did the ergo like that woukd be sweet.
Gamma ergo its a China Shit clipper, about trimmer you cant do any hair. Îs bad.

Eh, they about on the same level. The JRL are cheaper and lighter, also gives a hour longer runtime.

It really depends on your budget. My favorite clipper is the Cordless Wahl Magic Clip and you can get them for $85 on atlantabarber.com. No matter how many clippers I use I always got the Magic Clips on my station.

I’m practicing on my beard and cousin hair right now lol but everything good tho bruh I’m still learning the ropes. I bought the slimline pros and I like those..I want the masters next bc I want to increase my longevity and the Babyliss FX Pros just off the looks alone

I don’t think this is better then the jrls man… for the price point you get two speed settings, 4 hours battery life, battery display, and more power… if this is ANYTHING Like the x ergo I’d say the only improvement would be the build quality due to the all metal housing. I haven’t held them personally but after dropping the $239 ticket on the x ergos… I was extremely disappointed… not to mention the housing cracked once I took off the click lever and it’s been 5 weeks and they still haven’t answered my warranty claim smh
These are built way better than the ergos. The jrl is better overall imo because of the ergonomics, extra hour of battery and light weight.
The best thing about the mythics is if you want a clipper that fades the skin to the half. You can get super detailed and super clean with it. You can also hear every hair being cut with the clipper which is nice. I love using both on every fade i do because they compliment eachother really well.

I would compare it to using a corded senior maybe a tad lighter. But its definitely the heaviest cordless clipper ive used personally. Tad heavier than the 100 year metal cordless seniors
