Really love between Neuvillette and Focalors and Furina's relationship. We can see that although Neuvillette really hated both Celestia and Archons, he really fonded by both Focalors and Furina. To the extend, he showed us his devastating face at Focalors execution. I hope, Neuvillette can at least keep protecting Furina in the future :(

I'm just sad that we don't get to talk to Furina after the prophecy. Also, the way she left felt so empty, but I understand why she did it, 500 years of pretending, she's the strongest mentally for sure.

Well, that's hinted at from her story quest - even though the mental fatigue shows on her face now and she's more open about herself to Traveller, she still tries to put on a brave face
I agree with you. I feel like Furina deserved better after 500 years of loneliness. Somehow it felt like the only thing she got out of all the 500 years was emptiness and a lost sense of self. And even though in her quest many people admired her for her acting and stage prowess, no one could really acknowledge her efforts because no one knew what she truly went through. At least Neuvilette acknowledged her efforts (though not in front of her) but still was hoping he at least at let her know how well she did. She needs the affirmation that her efforts have been seen and recognised by someone. Or she'll continue to feel lonely as she does after the AQ. That's my take.

Lot of p noticed this and other questionable things that where OUT of mc’s character 💀 archon quest for Furina ENDS basically with the few ppl she felt she could rely on and the mc she THOUGHT she could confide in literally fking her over.. then story quest it’s like that didn’t just damn happen and their good friend.. WTF.. y’all pretend that’s ok hoyo will think it’s ok to get lazy and be more inconsistent with the plot.. 😂 btw ppl forgot lore fir some reason hence why they fought the line of questions in the trial made sense and travel or of all ppl is stupid… examples.. humans can be gods .. lady Vanessa for example.. all vision holders CAN achieve godhood if met more criteria… nahida never had a gnosis for 500 years.. Ei gave hers up to yae.. humans bad ones controlled the akaska and nahida didn’t have control over it.. gods with no to little power.. gouba.. salt goddess… just so examples.. 😂 gods literally get effected by same stuff that effects humans.. example Rukka simple had different effect to forbidden knowledge while humans got elizar… Rukka and gouba GAVE UP POWERS.. all these arguments MC should know better to ask.. and Furina even to lying on some actually answered them correctly.. her points literally reflect lore events yet trail literally brushed her responses to the side as if if they weren’t valid.. Furina should not have lost that case.. but again PLOT needs to move forward so it got LAZY and just disgraced all of it for the age of TIME I guess to push the plot.. 😂 ppl are so enthralled by the spectacle of the story they never noticed the outright lazy parts.. best archon act so far but oh boy I saw lot of bs lazy stuff.. I notice just like I noticed after Clorinde blew up the device to shut the 3massive metal gates to stop the flood YET gates magically disappeared so Nuev could push the water ba k as he walked thru the gateless hall.. or how at the end when knave was leaving Nuev returned fro the fortrass on the complete opposite side of where the entrance was.. he came from the direction of the dancing robot bosses.. 😂 he should came from behind the travellor.. I notice everything it’s LAZY.. Not sorry it’s damn lazy.. 😂

I can totally understand why the other archons have mad respect for Furina: to play on a role, keeping her secret only for herself, put the happiness of the Fontainians instead of her own while enduring that for 500 years! It’s no wonder they compare her to a God.
So, if I understood this well, Focalors is the only Archon who has been able not only to destroy the archon, but her position as a whole, completely erasing hydro throne on Celestia, and giving that back to the sovereign dragon! Focalors is a genius! and the history reference is now clear, exactly how the revolution was not done to change the king, but to completely destroy the crown. The hydro divine throne is gone. So, how will Celestia take this? And does this also mean that Hydro gnosis no longer exist? What will the fatui do? in Natlan things are gonna expolde I think. Incredible Archon quest!

@@eivelk yes, but if they are made from the third descender, they are still filled with dragons sovereign power, so if Neuvilette took it back, the gnosis is empty. Also, if that was linked to the real source of power in Celestia, that being the divine hydro throne, if it has been destroyed, the gnosis should be useless. What will the fatui do with an empty and disconnected gnosis?

@@Rubior426yeah it’s not really clear to me if Neuvillette lost full dragonhood when he gave away the gnosis but my guess was that he already absorbed the hydro power
@@res6148 In the final conversation, it's stated that he has complete power over hydro and its authority. The gnosis itself is implied to be a symbol of that authority and its power is different from the Sovereign authority. Right now, he's the sole divine ruler of Hydro and Fontaine's only source of power thanks to his Pneumousia. This final ascension line also kinda spoils it out as well, now that he's a full fledged dragon. He actually says he doesn't need the Gnosis's power, since the sovererign power is his natural power that is rightfully given back to him.
the sentence "no, i still need answers!" really shows travelers true intentions.
All the previous archons have used traveller without giving any answers, especially Zhongli who knows all 😂 and now furina was about to die, traveller gotta hurry 😂
the traveler in my account got thrown from the highest mountain in teyvat for their treatment of Furina after all she has done. I would have thrown Neuvillette too but he redeemed himself at the end by taking care of her.
He/she sought the answers as to who is the hydro archon not abt sibling , if he/she wanted to ask then he could've asked neuvillette at the end but He/she didn't
Obviously after all the bs of helping archons of their problems and getting no answers on the whereabouts of his sister has made the traveller stopped caring 😂😂

Tbf its not fully clear.humans are alr seen to live long lives in some cases via other means.one of them being vesion holders being able to ascend to godhood.its improbable but a au or maybe.i still wonder how dottore is alive after like 400 years or the jester after more than 500 years or lumine also for over 500 years.conventionally all 3 of them are literal humans.i have my doubts on human lifespan and ways to get immortality in genshin.

my understanding about the relationship between the dragon and the archon so far:
Monstadt: becoming a buddy
Liyue: tamed
Inazuma: in memorial
Sumeru: become tsundere
Fountaine: deceived into appreciating humanity
This was such a low blow... they showed us a real Archon ... we loved her after just few lines of text... only to have her killed off. Wtf Mihoyo 💀😭😭😭
My exact thoughts. If Focalors didn't have to shoulder such a heavy burdon Fontaine would have been a Utopia by now

I always felt that quiet sigh focalors gave just before her last dance was so subtle and well placed. It speaks of quiet resignation mixed with a hint of regret and acceptance that it is all done.

Dvalin and Adzaha are not Sovereign, they are just normal dragon, the only confirmed Sovereign are Apep and Neuvillete.
Im imagining if focalors is playable she would be a hydro claymore or a catalyst but more like a claymore i guess., her playstyle would be something like kaveh but the mechanics looks like what a catalyst user would fight,.i cant quite put it in words

You know whats weird is that Furina getting a hydro vision. Either it means Celestia already knows or whenever they provide a Vision it is automatic as per the ambition of the person and they dont care on the identity.
Celestia has no reason to give Furina a vision after she deceived them.
I have two guesses on what happened:
1. Neuvillette just awarded the Vision to her outright since he posses absolute control of the Hydro element
2. Celestia rejected giving Furina a Vision, but since they lost control of the Hydro element to Neuvillette he could overturn their decision and force them to give her one anyway.
Either way, Neuvillette was 100% involved in some way when it came to Furina getting her Vision
Focalors is a real one🙏🙏

She is Foçalor's human counterpart
She's is Focalors human counterpart, meaning Furina is Focalors human body but she decided to separate her divinity from her human body & spirit for her to accomplish her plan

I love this story , I love how absolutely dark Furina's character becomes when looked at from this context, and I love everything about Neuvillette getting his full power and becoming a "pseudo-archon" of Fontaine.
However for some reason and maybe someone else can understand what I feel here: I can't decide if I love it or don't like it.
Because I've said what I love about this scene and this archon quest, but at the same time it does come off a little anti-climatic. Think about it: Furina (who is probably the most important character in this story) doesn't do anything in her own story. And make no mistake I get it That's a tragedy, and when you watch it does make you sad. But the moment you drop the emotions of it yeah
Furina has no purpose in this story. Heck Focalors is an even worse example because we spent the entire archon quest learning about her, and all at once we're told oh yeah Furina is not the archon, in fact she's not a god at and then we meet the real focalors and she kills herself immediately.
Once again I like to emphasize I don't think it's a bad story nor am I saying I hate it but choices while thrilling to see in the moment really make me scratch my end in hindsight. Not to mention I am really not a fan of Furina just on her own now but she's still playable and has the stats of an archon but isn't actually archon. And her ability to use Pnuema and Ousia Arkium now looks out left field since shes just a human?
To me feels like they made the kits for Furina and Nuevillette but the story team decided but what if have twist?

Focalors is Furina. And she had to suffer in both human and God versions. He probably loved all her versions. And first he loses the divine, second Furina will be dying of old age without her immortality. He has more than enough reason to cry
The only one question i have to ask is “who will be the next hydro archon?” Neuvillette can not be the hydro archon since like focalor said he is just a hydro dragon not an archon

The Authority held by Celestia over Fontaine (Through the Hydro Archon) no longer exists. Now fontaine is under the independent authority of the "HYDRO DRAGON SOVEREIGN".
SPOILER WARNING BELOW:
You can also see this shift in Authority from Furina's vision. Since Celestia no longer holds authority over Hydro, it can no longer grant Hydro Visions; Neuvi does. Furina's vision case has "Dragon Claws", a symbol that it was a vision NOT granted by Celestia, but by a DRAGON SOVEREIGN

The Gnosis was with Focalors all along, the reason why Furina doesn't have it is because Furina is Focalors supposedly human body but she decided to separate her divinity with her body & spirit.
Wait, wait, wait.So, if gnosis are remains of Third Descender..And Fatui want to took all of the gnosis..And that's because of Heavenly Principles..Does that mean, they want to reunite all the gnoses together to get the powers of the Third or something else?
