    Fun fact, Yann Sommer played alongside Mohamed Salah in Basel back in 2012-13. He was always fun to watch with his acrobatic saves and a bit of flamboyant manner

    Massively underrated and not noticed enough, reason why?? I’m in the same boat, HEIGHT!!! The whole stupid judgment on height is ridiculous, so many can slip through the net simply because of that. It can be heartbreaking

      On transfermarkt si reported as 182/183 but that's not average goalkeeper height for sure, not even 184, Italian goalkeeper cragno was often rejected for his height (186cm)

      @@matti6875 as a general rule, anything above 180 cm is accepted for high level goalkeepers, at a lower level than the bundesliga anything goes, quality is the measure

      @@bigdaddy2429 yeah 180 is acceptable but they rather taller goalkeepers and if a goalkeeper 180 tall makes it to the big leagues often is not that good while Sommer is world class

    Sorry but please get your facts straight! Yann Sommer played for FC Basel and then moved to Germany not from Zurich though please!

      @@dwkickoff The last time a different team won the league was 2012. They’ve won it 11 times since 2010, the other team that won it twice was dortmund. What happened? They poached all their players. What have they done since then? Poach loads of other bundlesliga players.

    Sell out if you play for bayern it's a kop out most horrid club in the world walk the league every season and cripple any challengers by buying there best players. I think its embarrassing that their players celebrate
