Thank you for the video! I think your techniques are so helpful in getting children to invest themselves into stories. I try to do the same with my daughter, Mango, and she responds inquisitively and shows genuine interest in just about every book I read her!

My son loves to read but he is only concentrating on reading and not interested in understanding the meaning or trying to listen. Any tips on how i can make him listen to me when i explain the story?
Ask questions get him to infer rather than explain
I am a TA looking for inspiration for an observed whole class trial lesson in reception next week in a new school and I have found this very helpful! Would you recommend reading a story like this in a trial lesson/ do you have any other ideas which will make me stand out but are not too complicated?
