Goku on the other hand was already a super Saiyan and surpassed his limits to master the form and during the nine day wait before the Cell games, Goku spend time with his family and left a parting gift for chi chi before the event so it's not surprising that the two boys inherited the super Saiyan from their fathers

Also no SSJ3 Gotenks, cause that still makes no sense. As for Caulifla and Kale, I feel like just leaving it at Caulifla only managing to tap into it briefly rather than full-on achieving it with the back-tingling method would’ve been better, along with a brief showing of Kale’s berserk rage in her base through an outburst rather than (again) right out achieving it after crying a bit.
