Thanks for keeping the video clean for my young kids. 5yr old likes to help me out and enjoyed the show. She was grabbing the screen at the end trying to snag the meat.
just wanted to let you know that i tried your recipe by every step and i have to tell you, the family was impressed, thank you so much, this is a keeper. thanks and keep showing recipes, Semper Fi brother.
I have recently bought my first smoker and its a ranger . I have been watching video's for months and this video is one of the few out there that used the ranger and might be my first cook. I liked and subscribed and hope you make more videos like this one for the ranger . I liked seeing a good how to video that wasn't another rib ,brisket,or some kind of large meat with too high of level of difficulty for an amateur like me and scare me away, or would be to large of meat for the ranger . thank you very much
Your recipe is going to be my first cook on my first pellet grill. The Treager ranger. Was a strictly charcoal Weber guy but I like the diversity this grill brings to my pit.
I really like your your videos. I just bought a trader smoker and love it . Your precise direction and recipes are great to watch. You conduct meat operas Keep up the great work.
I've done two three pound chuck roasts at one time on my Ranger. I cook mine at 260 F until the internal temp is 170. Then I wrap in foil with some broth and cook till internal temp is 210. Then into a cooler for at least an hour. Fall apart tender and the leftovers freeze so well. Never thought of doing a chuck roast like a pot roast with all the vegetables. I will have to give that a try.
I don't have a Ranger.....yet. I'm thinking of getting one for work. I do have a Traeger 780 Pro that I'm going to try this on. looks delicious. Thank you
I’m about 3 1/2hrs into cook. I added veggies and potatoes at the 2 hr mark. At the 4hr mark, you covered yours. Did you stir the veggie mix down under the meat? Mine are still looking freshly cut on top. I don’t seem to have all the liquid that you had. I guess cover and let it go for awhile longer?
Big meat on a tiny grill. This should be a good showdown. Sandy I have been looking for a good keto pot roast. If I take out the taters we should be good to go.
Im making this right now and will try your recipe with the taters, onions, peppers, butter, WS/H20. I think I will leave it on for 3 hours so I can get the bark more set cause I use more course pepper. Looks good and thank you. Subscribed.
After watching your videos on the ranger we bought one this week . We smoked some amazing 321 baby backs. Then your comments on China made products. It’s US companies having things made over seas. Look around your house and say there’s nothing made in China Malaysia Vietnam overseas
Did you not watch the whole video? Did you not hear me say that it's virtually impossible to eliminate ALL china made products from your household? You're exactly right, it is American companies having things made in China....Like Traeger....I said that as well. Everything you said in your comment, I pointed out in the video. The very point that I made at the end of the video, if you had watched it, is that we have to start somewhere. One item at a time. If possible, support the American made companies who are hiring American workers and producing goods within our borders.....so that is MY decision. If you don't have a problem with it, that is totally up to you. I said in the video ....."I'm not judging you"......

Great video I'm buying a ranger tomorrow
Ooh Rah Marine. Great video. Semper Fi, Gunny V
I did the same thing this morning but substitute the onions with celery. Might use beef broth instead of the worchester.
Semper Fi ❤
Is that a whataburger tray?
Do you ever feel like it’s to small for 2-4 persons?
To me it looks like the perfect starter pellet grill for 2 persons 👍
my man!
Where can i find your recipes at?
Awesome
on my pit bosss I have 200 or 250 degrees which is better
Trying to pick out a grill, GMG or Grilla.
Grilla easily!
Think this recipe would be good with elk?
Do you still use the watchman stove at all?
Making this tomorrow. What kind of internal temp should I be looking for at probe tender ?
At least 200
Thanks. Can’t find beef tallow. What to use for replacement

That is correct Mike.
😅 I’m not sure what I did wrong smoked a brisket not to long ago on my ranger and like 2.5hrs in I had to add pellets
The Ranger only has an 8 pound hopper capacity. Also depends on what brand and flavor pellet you were using.
Traeger Whiskey blend pellets. Hmm I’m gunna try a new brand right away lumberjack pellets prolly this weekend should be good

Don’t do the 321 method with pork ribs. Over cooks them way too much. Instead do about a 4/30/30
Just get to the freaking point already!!!!!!
This guy kicks ass. Convinced me to buy a ranger haha.
