Finally you are getting into MY wheelhouse, haha! So for parts i gotta say LMC truck is going to have almost everything. Even the sheet metal so you can cut the cancer out (downside is their metal is a tad thin). If you are in doubt about fitments or anything just know that from 1973 to 1993 the frames didnt change a damned bit. The only difference lies in D (2wd) and W (4wd) where they added leaf mounts for front axle and did some tweaks to the saddle for motor mounts. As for the why on the frame cracks on the drivers front horn... they never reinforced the steering gear box mount and it has a crap load of holes. Any kind of heavy load usually gives enough tension to crack from the top bolt hole up and then the rest is history. I encourage throwing some 2 1/4" x .250 channel steel (im pretty sure it was 2.25" could be 2.5 but its been a minute since ive done it) in there and reverse boxing it.
I think you found a real jewel there Joe. Replacing suspension and drivetrain components should help a lot. Brakes and new wheel bearings also. Not much rust to deal with either. Up here in Wisconsin that truck would have died of cancer long ago.
@@JustMoparJoe JMJ , I tell it the way I see it and your always busy and always making progress. That oil on the starter probably kept it lubed up and working . I have used a clothes hanger or some other wire to tie up tie rod ends so I could get to the parts store for a new one . I’m sure you have to . Great video . Good to see you working . We’ve been having some nice days for it lately

Great job on the engine removal. Impressive while still on jack stands. How many miles are on the Ramcharger? Back glass should be easy to find, so many vehicles sitting in junkyards out there.
Thanks brother. If this one can’t be fixed, I will get ahold of you, first. My transmission builder that does my racecars, here in Arkansas can definitely nail the transmission on this one.

Great video Joe, good evaluation of the Dodge Ramcharger. She needs some attention for sure!
Thanks, Walter. I’m excited to bring it back to life!
Looks like a lot of work. Gonna work great when you do your magic.
Thanks brother. I think this one will move along nicely. I’m making a good list of parts and staying busy
0:47 The RC, D100 used thin frame material of only 0.156" which is flexy at the steering box, a box brace is recommended
