  • On 22 January 2024, we had the pleasure to host Toomas Hendrik Ilves, former President of Estonia, who visited the College of Europe in Natolin to deliver a keynote address as part of the Zbigniew Brzeziński Memorial Lecture Series. President Ilves took the time to answer some of our questions on Estonia’s experience in digital transition, key challenges and opportunities ahead of the EU, and the role of the Zbigniew Brzeziński Memorial Lecture Series in honouring Brzezinski’s legacy.
The Zbigniew Brzeziński Memorial Lecture Series, hosted by the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland), honours the renowned professor through high-level lectures focusing on international security. It emphasizes Brzeziński's political and diplomatic legacy, particularly his advocacy for ethics, values, and human rights in foreign policy, aiming to reinforce the transatlantic alliance through shared principles.
