Featuring a brand new paintjob for this race of the Hakone Regionals, Kyouko took it upon herself to practice early for the Time Attack runs up the Nanamagari hill, passing under and over the Turnpike road. Dumpstering her horsepower in order to gain earlier torque in the RPM range, the now-264PS Silvia S15 Spec-R Aero finds itself with a new limited-slip differential setting that would allow it to better grip the tight and twisty corners of the very small, very short course.
However, far from it, the vehicle appears just as happy as ever to slide it's rear end towards the outside walls of the course, and the uphill nature of the course and hard 'bankings' produced by it's steepness make this climb a difficult challenge. Using 1st gear became a last-resort to ensure some measure of control over the car, and with it, previous times that ranged around the 1 minute 29 second mark were beaten by 2 full seconds.
Perhaps it might be time to start going more seriously...
