This is such a fantastic piece of art. Flaws and the way that improves our art- that shows each unique part of us can never be replaced. I often struggle with perfectionism, thank you for the reminder that that's what sets us apart.
Aw, thank you so much! I'm so glad you connected with it. I've wrestled with perfectionism forever and I don't know if that tendency ever completely goes away, but wishing for that is in itself another manifestation of perfectionism in a weird way. So I guess we've all got to be a little kinder to ourselves. We'll be okay though, haha. Your comment made my day :)
Such a beautiful video 😍😍 What I’m taking away from this video is this quote “This table isn’t perfect but I’m in love with it cause we made it” nice one 👏🏾👏🏾_
nice video bro, really love the storytelling. about those AI films coming along, what if ppl don't really care? what if ppl would rather watch a good film than care about the director? the only benefit to keep producing films is so that ppl can reference your style when the want to watch an AI made film.
People can't help but care. Maybe I'm too optimistic about human nature, but I feel like we will always value human art over any industrial AI that churns out stuff whenever its prompted to - no matter how good they get. It's similar to the same way, we value handmade watches, old cars, and vinyl records. They may be more expensive and difficult to make, but the processes behind their creation add immense value to the finished product. Heck, we already have AI-generated music and I personally couldn't care less. I see a future where AI-generated films will an option for people looking for some silence-filling content to watch while they eat. They'll probably be good entertainment, but they can only have as much value as an off-brand Casio watch, while films made by human auteurs will be the Rolexes.
:) loved this
