One thing you can do is divide the town up into sectors then clear the buildings in that area before moving onto the next. While one or two of your squads clear it, have your other men or additional vehicles overwatch the other areas of the town. Use routes that will give you the best cover to make a foot-hold in town and put your support by fire vehicle and elements in positions that will give them the best fields of fire.
Hey ruby, yeah more or less what I've been trying to achieve but found out that the Bradley IFV's are not using their TOW launchers and seem fairly ineffective when compared to their russian counterparts even their (30mm?) Cannon seems crap. Pretty much why I cant trust to leave em to their duty lol. So next episode will involve taking a mil base that will grant me access to an Abrams tank. The plan then will more closely follow what you have suggested. Leaving a tank and small AT team as overwatch/base of fire whilst main squads, myself and the Bradley can deal with soft targets. I think alot of the sectors have been awkward as the proximity to others sectors ensure the enemy has mutually supporting fields of fire. Next time I'll deal with it like I did with eponia, take out the smaller sectors around it.
@@HazBofficial Yeah the surrounding sectors will start moving in slowly to reinforce (if the proximity is close enough to make them spawn). I'm not sure why the gunner isn't shooting the TOW (I use VCOM AI) but the 25mm the Bradley has is practically useless against anything bigger than a BMP-2. The T-72 is a tough nut to crack, you'll want to hit it on the exaust in the back for a quick mobility kill. I look forward to your attack to seize the airfield!
@@rubylin5829 ooo havnt messed with vcom for ages, might put it on the mod list for when I load up liberation. I remember having some fantastic firefights last I used it and the ai felt less "cheaty"
@@sanadelmeziny4681 The scenario will not show in your singleplayer scenarios, if you want to play SP, go to multiplayer and host a LAN game and select the mission that way. Or you can host it over the internet and password it so if any of your friends want to join they can just jump on and help. (that what I do)
Hey Prince, its Sahrani. An old arma 1 terrain ported by the guys at CUP. You can find it here along with dependencies: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=583544987 It's a bit dated by todays standard...but it offers a good variety of terrain to fight over and it was pure nostalgia for me lol.
Always like to see a tough struggle in Arma 3.
