The second I saw Barbaryena with the bone club, I started thinking about how they would interact with Marowak. Maybe they'd be friends, helping eachother find bones. Maybe they'd be rivals, trying to get more food and water than the other. Maybe they'd be enemies, Barbaryena wanting the bones and skulls of the Marowak for decoration and weapons.
I like these ideas. I can see s classic trope of they are enemies but one pokemon from each species become friends and attempt to stop the fighting between species. Would be a great pokemon episode.
Remember when Gamefreak didn't give Flygon a mega cuz of artist's block? That's when you bring in people like Truegreen. Heck, they should offer him a full-on contract

Doesn't help for the fact that Shuckle can get up to 900 points of defense/sp. def on one of his defensive stats and 800 on the other. It also doesn't help that it's evolution's HP stat isn't increased.
I adore all of these new evolutions, as well as the Minior related Mythical. You're so creative and it's clear to see your creativity is improving. I would have never guessed Minior to have a mythical related to it. So clever and it's so appealing. That shiny was awesome, you're right
I think Eviolite is why they haven't given older Pokemon new evolved forms since gen 4. The exception is when they've introduced a new regional form of that Pokemon (such as Galarian Farfetch'd), and only the regional form evolves (into Sirfetch'd in my example), thus Eviolite on Kantonian Farfetch'd doesn't work since that form still doesn't evolve. They want new evolved forms to shine on their own, and not be overshadowed and outclassed by their pre-evolved form holding an item that was admittedly OP in the first place and shouldn't exist.
I don’t watch many poketubers, but TrueGreen7 does a really good job of making videos that make me feel nostalgic towards Pokémon again. I just picked up an old copy of Soul Silver and am gonna play it for the first time ever today. I adore all the love and care you put into your fan pokemon trying to make them feel as real as any pokemon with such deep world-lore and intricate origins. Just little touches like mentioning how Barbaryena are mostly female in reference to the matriarchal hyena packs, the Cheshire Cat reference on Psycholeon; I never would have thought of that!
If Cometa came in different colors like Minior do, then it'd definitely fit in with that Super Sentai/Power Rangers inspiration. Also, a new move that lowers special attack that Shucastle can learn would be good for Contrary
I would love to see 7's interpretation of a Absol evolution or regional form, I've never attempted to make one myself. But I'm not sure if my favorite pokemon would do well in the new region lol

I love these evolutions. They look amazing!! I can’t wait to see more of your poke design for Asonne region (did I spell it right). I got to catch up on the art videos but I can’t wait to see more designs, including more regional variants and evos and even desired fossil mons (as Egypt, apart of the Middle East, had so many interesting prehistoric creatures). I can’t wait to see what we get.
I’d love to see an evolution for Sableye, it’s one of my favs. I even came up with this little back story explaining a regional variant that’s Ghost/Electric where a bunch of Sableye made their home in a cave where thunder stones were mined and they started eating them all and changed into Ghost/Electric.
I would say my favorite one of these was the Mightyena evolution. I like the aesthetic and inspiration, but I also just really like Mightyena and Obstagoon.
the problem with giving shuckle an evolution is that is has 505 bst as is, and it's REALLY rare for normal, non-pseudolegend pokemon to end up above 545 bst....so as is Truegreen is pushing past standard protocol here.... aka, basically, for a shuckle evolution to not just be worse shuckle, it HAS to be minmaxed for offense completly since if it's defensive you run right back into the dusclops/dusknoir problem

I’ve actually made an evolution for Minior myself. I made it look like a giant fish creature and decided that it was basically the asteroids that helped start all living life in the pokemon world and, in-universe, Arceus designed it themself so the pokemon would turn out more organically rather than being made up through time by themself alone. It still has the shell and the shell can be knocked off when attacked, just like Minior.
I really love the designs for these Pokemon especially the Furret evolution and the one that looks like Kecleon also the Mightyena one and the Minior one too they look so cool.
