Really good video. I think with *SPOILER ALERT*
Monica's death in Season 7, Fiona truly began to become Fiona rather than someone who is just there to fix everyone's problems. The Gallagher family has lots of intelligence and ingenuity that is overlooked by the silliest of their escapades but I think Fiona and Lip are trying not to become Monica and Frank respectively. I haven't watched Season 8 but I'm excited for it. The show will likely go 10 seasons but I think most viewers (myself included) are conflicted.
The Gallaghers are terrible people, so are most of the characters. But we want them to get out because we see their potential. Either way, Great video!

I love Shameless, and really would like other fans ideas and thoughts regarding the US version to its original UK counterpart. The US season 1 recreates and reimagines so many of the UK season 1s plots and episodes, with lots of new ideas and exciting things in there. From season 2 onwards, the US show goes on its own, with only a couple of things from the UK one coming into play. A huge difference is that the Gallgher kids leave over time in the UK one, with more time given to Mickey and Mandys family, the Maguires. I loved seeing the US Fiona's arc and character. In the UK version, she and Steve leave together at the end of season 2. Lip leaves after season 4 for collage. Ultimately the Gallagher kids in the UK version dont really inherit the same self destructive ways of their parents, and one by one they leave the series over time for better lives away from Frank and Monica and the derelict housing estate they live on.
