Congrats on your 1k subs 😃 - I find the "local" charity shops (rather than BHF / Oxfam etc) have much better prices and don't always know what they are selling and you can get a good bargain with friendly customer service too
It's not re-sellers - charity shops used to be the little old lady who would say 'how about 10 pence dear' - now they are businesses with managers who are 20 somethings that are tech savvy and are employed to make maximum profit for the charity - they still have the volunteers but they are run by paid staff
It makes no sense to me it shouldn't matter what a buyer is doing with the item the Charity shop should just be interested in raising money for the Charity by pricing as high as they are all they are doing is stopping non Resellers from buying and stopping Resellers from buying so in the end that's affecting the charity. The charity shop by me is very reasonable it's always packed with people and they never ask you what your doing with the items there just happy to be raising money for the charity which is what it should be about.
From my experience Reselling becomes your life your hobby and business, Im not earning much at all and still have a full time job but I just love buying and selling 😊
I’m interested to hear why you feel this way. You’ve only stated that I’m naive and deluded but not backed this up by any logical rationale. What makes you feel this way?
@@blackcountryreseller I listened to your entire video. You spelled out the arguments as to why resellers are ruining things. The arguments that you reject are in fact correct. There's no point in me listing the same arguments if you have already idiotically dismissed those arguments explicitly. You talk about the 'internet' as if its a conscious being, when in fact 'the internet' in question is reseller content. The old school did things right, if only you idiots on youtube knew what you are now missing out on.

Thank you! 🙂
The smaller charity shops do seem to be a lot better price wise than the larger ones.

Thank you for your comment, this is an interesting viewpoint.
Well they are definitely having an effect. Some Charities are selling stuff locally at a price hardly less then new.
Agree.
I’m afraid to say they have ruined charity shops for ordinary folk. Charity shops are charging eBay prices because they think everyone is a reseller.
Thank you for your comment.

Not sure how they have ruined charity shops. They just do more research now.
If your buying to sell on it's not a hobby it's a business.

Naive and deluded don't even begin to describe this shockingly incorrect person.

Charity shops just do more research now. Not everyone who shops in a charity shop is a reseller.
Thank you for your comment.
Black Country Reseller, wanna collab it was really good
What I’ve gathered from this video is you know nothing about reselling
They have ebay and vinted now to get their prices from.
Thank you for your comment.
