This is a minor thing, but translating “Länderschmause” as “National feast” is kinda misleading, it’s a compound of Länder (countries) and schmause, (feast basically) so it basically means “feast of countries,” with the feast showing how the emperor was eating the other countries like Flanders as if they were plates at a banquet. (My German is still a work in progress, if this is wrong feel free to correct me)
@Arigato Cat The reformation? He generally liked the way the English did christianity far more than the way the French did, in the fact that priests were just every day people as far as he could see, without much fanfare or being a class of their own, suggesting he liked the reformation although he was a deist and very critical of all three abrahamic religions. The HRE? He said that it is "Neither holy, nor roman, nor an empire". He thought it was a gross and incohesive mashup of states that existed basically in title alone.
@@toasterofdoom9629 And Voltaire wasn't really wrong at that. The ruler of the allied forces established a giant guilt complex to lay Germany and its people in chains. Generations of Germans were brainwashed that Germany and they themselves are inherently evil.
Edit:
For many this isn't of any relevance but Germany ruled by puppets of Washington looses more and more the capacity to defend itself and to preserve traditions and with that I point at the once great media and old style liberal discussion culture. The Germany I like is the one founded in the revolution of 1848. Without the chains of the Atlantic Bridge Germany could go very unique way and could find worldwide unique solutions for majore questions.
@@whyamisad5740 No. All over Germany you have German culture. Just not in the big cities which at this point can hardly be called german anymore.
@@abeedhal6519 somewhat, yeah. It really is mostly the bigger cities but I can definetly tell you that it depends on where the city is located.
This song is beautifull in all ways.
🇩🇪Unser Liebe Fraue🇪🇦
Nuestra querida señora
De Kaltenbrunn
Concédenos a los pobres lansquenetes
¡Un cálido sol!
No nos dejes morir de frio,
En el pub del propietario
Vamos con los bolsillos llenos de dinero,
Pero están vacíos cuando salimos.
El tambor, el tambor,
a las armas, a las armas, a las armas,
Hola ridi-ridiran,
Ridiran, de todo corazón por delante!
Landsknecht adelante!
Hola ridi-ridiran,
Ridiran, de todo corazón por delante
Landsknecht adelante!
quoi?

My ancestors were from here and they could’ve been part of this for all I know
AND IM ASCENDING TO THIS
Ingen needs to do more German Songs
I’d especially like to see “Gott Erhalte Franz den Kaiser”
At some parts this seems similar to the song of the Siberian rifleman, which speaking of. I think it would be great to make a video on Weißgardisten vom Kuban which is the german version of it.
Could be the same melody regarding the influence of ethnic German commanders on the Russian military in general.

Its HRE so viva 🇩🇪🇨🇿🇳🇱🇮🇹🇧🇪🇱🇺🇦🇹
@@evzenvarga9707 Where's 🇵🇱, actually there's a part of Poland.
@Manuel Silva You can’t be serious right now. During the HRE shown on the map these lands (Pomerania and Silesia) were German inhabited until 1945. Poland has absolutely nothing to do with the HRE.
@@RundfunkerOnline Yeah I now, but I speak on actually (If I have spoken wrong, sorry of my english)
Beautiful Landsknecht song right there!

Guten Tag, nordischer Bruder.
Guten tag Scandinavian bruderlich!
Die trommel, die trommel, lärman, lärman, lärman, HEI RIDI-RIDIRAN RIDIRAN FRISCH VORAN!
At some point in history, martial tradition, Politics, mercenaries and DRIP came together to give us Landsknechts.
This is the best version of this song.
Hmmm, I've never heard this version, cool
ja
I weep at this song.
Teacher: we’re taking a class trip to Rome!
Girls: OMG I WANNA SEE THE COLLESIUM
Me and the boys:
Holy Roman Empire is German ._.
But some of them are not.
@@Janua7ies I know but didn't the Landsknechts help sack Rome?
@@joehartman5543 idk.
@@joehartman5543 Indeed they did, Landsknechts nearly kidnapped Pope

Ye I also noted the Gwent art. Too good lol
Back in the day when germans could roll the "R"
Ngl, landskects were probably the coolest troops in the 1500
Love this song
one of the best
lol that 2nd picture is from Gwent, isn't it?
Yeah, it's a Lyrian Landsknecht.
Thanks infinitely for this old song of which I never heard about 😲😀😃 ! How do you arrive to find so great and unique anthems ? 😲😨😱👍👌🤜🤛
For your information, the french name of these soldiers is "Lansquenets". 😊🙂
Yeah the frogs are good at making abominations out of German names. Ludvig turns into clovis for example.
@@abeedhal6519 bro what the heck did you smoke its like saying that in english francois becomes franklin when its francis
@@BogoceDesMontagnes You don't seem to even remotely grasp this topic whatsoever. That's a false analogy btw.
