Hi Mike, after so many features added to Excel, during these years (PQ, Dyn. Array, Python etc.), would you like to suggest a better method to list down all sample points of permutations or combination.

In regards to 'y' combinations of 'n' objects; is there any quick/easy way (in excel) to generate and display all possible combination pairings or matchings? NOTE: I don't mean display the total number of possible combinations 'y', rather, I want it to actually show WHAT the possible combinations are.
For example: If 'n' number of objects consisted of 3 red shirts, 2 blue shirts, and 1 yellow shirt, and I wanted to know what all the possible combinations are if I can only select 2 shirts at a time,... can excel create a list of all combos displaying in such a manner like: [Red(1), Blue(2)], [Yellow, Red(2)], [Blue(2), Blue(1)], etc... ? Is that possible?
I believe this would be considered a 'Brute Force' technique.

To get the permutations boomerangs why cant you just multiply the experimental outcome Boomerangs by 2? For example, 6 experimental outcomes * 2 = 12 permutations

If go to excel > FORMULAS > MATH AND TRIG > COMBIN (not combina) > Number is 50......number chosen is 3....i get an answer 19600..........in the cell itself i get text =combin (50,3)
question how can i get excell to list all 19600 combin down a column.

I am trying to create a list of combin (not combina ) of number 35, with a number chosen of 24. I find it very hard to follow you on this one. Could you please tell me how to do it by the military fashion. ie by the numbers.
