  • Hundreds of people climb Mt. Vinson (Antarctica's highest mountain) each year, but only a few in the history of the planet have ever skied down from the summit.
In this new video from professional ski mountaineer, Caroline Gleich, you will get a rare glimpse into what it's like to ski down from the peak of one of the "Seven Summits" (one of the highest mountains in the world).
After climbing to the top of Mt. Vinson, Caroline Gleich and her husband, Rob Lea, were able to ski down to their "High Camp" and spend the night there, recovering from their epic accomplishment of making it to the top of Mt. Vinson.
But now, with Christmas Day quickly approaching and a strong desire to return home and spend time with their families, Caroline and Rob need to race back to "Base Camp" in time to catch a plane back to Union Glacier and then off of the Antarctica continent entirely.
Will the adventurers be able to ski all the way down the mountain and make it to "Base Camp" in time to catch their flight home for Christmas? You'll have to watch this video and see for yourself!
