What an amazing studio! I've been such a big fan of the Castlevania series since the 8-bit era. Def one of the coolest setups I've seen. The Goku plate is fire.

@@ArtofJoseVega cheers... Atm I use my contiq and a second monitor. But really liked how you had an area just to chill and write /sketch.
Also you have the next size up contiq with that stand... Looks like a game changer... Maybe I will invest into that.... Or get my company too! ;)
Are you working for a company or freelancing atm?
@@retroafro1 yeah I was using a 6x8 tablet for the past like 8 years... so I finally decided to invest in the cintiq... the ergo flex arm is pretty good as well.....I do work for a studio and also freelance but this is my purchase. At the studio I was using the Dell Canvas which is pretty good too.
@@ArtofJoseVega nice - That's great that you're allowed to work for a studio and freelance - i'm bound to my studio/company. I only have to travel to the studio once a week - so basically work from home, so all good! Keep up the good work :)
@@retroafro1 oo yeah i have heard of companies that have that rule.... they would need to pay me a lot of money if they are restricting what I do in my free time... but... its still good u can work from home still..... and thanks!

Is your digital art station on a standing desk? I'm questioning if I should get one because my posture while drawing is terrible.
hi jose,i wonder if u can help me to some info: i wanna buy wacom cintiq 16,but i felt to small..my laptop only had 1 hdmi port..meanwhile i think wacom cintiq 16 is not great on color&less sharp,so i will also buy 27 inch 1440p monitor..what should i do?i read on reddit,wacom cintiq 16 is kinda not working with hdmi splitter..so what should i do?
hhmmmm to be honest if I had to decide between 16 and 24 i owuld go with 24.... even if i did not have all the money i would wait and save up. thats what I did... I save up some money for a while to get all the rig i have at the moment. So I rather wait a bit and get a bigger upgrade than getting small upgrades every so often
I love that another digital artist sharing his or her workspace. I really need to do a video on my space also. You see tons of traditional artist tours of workspace but very few digital artists. I wonder why that is. I also wonder why you cannot find Digital Art Clubs. You can find Traditional Art Clubs and Lot of Photography clubs but not digital art clubs. I wonder why that is? There is so much we could share and collaborate and grow from finding another digital artist in our area. Well, things to think about.

Cool setup, but oof...I can't stand 'gamer chairs.' Bucket racing seats that restrict leg movement, have poor lumbar support, and don't breathe in the back. I use an ikea markus right now which is a much better budget stopgap chair, but I plan on investing in a true ergonomic chair at some point.
I wince slightly at the prevalence of those things. Every streamer and youtuber has them and they are just so bad. They seem more like they are made to display brand logos on the headrest on-camera than they are to actually support someone's back.
Also on the ikea markus - i recommend removing (or flipping upside-down so you don't lose them) the armrests for artists. It gives you a lot more freedom of movement while drawing.
yeah, I keep hearing about this... but.... if you saw what I had before this is major upgrade... I think I will eventually go for an expensive ergo chair but im a noob in all of this so.... also i stand a lot too so its not that bad... its definitely an upgrade from what I had for sure.
Herman Miller chairs are very good. Expensive but super worth it... I get lower back pain and that chair was a life saver.
Very hard to come by second hand in the UK.... But being tht the states is huuuuuge... Maybe one will pop up on the cheap.

yes.... i bought this on amazon... its a standing desk.... i think the brand is techorbits
What pc configuration are u using.?
i got an i9, rtx 2080 ti, 1ssd 1tb, a 4tb hdd and 32 ram from NZXT
