I went to Appleby horse fair in 95 I think it was, I was 12 years old I remember huge numbers on a field with a hill where they'd fight (cleanly) I remember a guy bending metal for money and so much more...its a shady memory now lol but genuinely respectful people, I guess it's changed alot now with laws etc

Nice pictures but I would prefer it without the music. I don't think any of those people listen to that stuff. Also it's amazing how quiet Appleby is when you take cars away, even with all those people

I saw 👀 many of those videos. That people are brutal abusers poor horses 🐎. I can understand tradition, history... not abuse the poor horses 🐎 lack of respect for the horses 🐎... that is rubbish thumb 👎 down!!!

Actually the horses were well looked after and some residents were sitting in their garden enjoying themselves and chatting to the travellers.
